I think we fans can get upset when we cut players we see make plays that our normal starters barely ever make, we keep some players too long that don’t help us at all, simalur to Griers infatuation with hurt players, meanwhile we are knocked out of playoffs each year, they act as if these players help us lift trophy’s.
We needed stability..I remember the last 20 years the coach carousel..We finally have a good coach, and I believe we have a good front office..
McDaniel has only been here two years.. Success takes time..Look around the NFL other great coaches had followed this format..Be patient..
In 2006 I believe the Dolphins were ahead of the Yankees as well. I think it was the Lakers that were the only team ahead of the Dolphins and the Steelers were right on their tail. That 1-15 season messed it all up.

Going into the season last year I think the Dolphins based on what they had on the O-Line and D-Line were better.
This year they are weaker in the trenches but stronger everywhere else.
Problem is, come playoff time, games are won in the trenches.

The only thing I don't agree on is that the line isn't a liability in big games. Neil brought up the play calling on 3rd and short as a place to improve, but I feel like that IS an offensive line issue. We had one game where the whole line played and even struggled in short yardage running in that game. (We turned it over on downs). Our O line can't bully teams in the run game, which makes us have to pass if we want to convert and everyone knows it. This line is even softer in the middle and is going to have problems running against good teams in crucial situations again. I hope I'm wrong about that.
