Amazing! Golf the way it was originally intended.
Amazing
Old Tom Morris inspired the Broons!!!!
So wonderful!
Thank you for this short clip… I played Askernish last June: there are prettier links… there are more manicured links… there are also links which are easier to reach… but Askernish is a unique experience… I will never forget it!
Played there in October 2020 when over training a client. Booked in advance, and never saw a single other person around the place the whole game! Took me back to the sort of courses I played in Co. Donegal in my younger years, including another Old Tom track laid out the same year, Rossapenna. Askernish is certainly one of the best courses I have ever played, and hope to return one day.
I played in the Askernish open in July 2023. I played 1 hole that was 40 mph wind and I hit a drive 180 yards, on the next hole I hit one 350+ and won the longest drive. I absolutely love this place and the island. I’m back in July to hopefully win the Open. If you go in the rough it’s new ball time. Make sure you take loads of balls.
Played Askernish a few months ago. It's a magical place in every sense. 👍🏻
golf is the greatest game mankind has ever produced
