  1. Great to see Nakashima back at this level after 18 mos of injuries, etc. Hoping he can make last 8, or at least last 16 to jump start back to too 25

  2. What a massively mid performance by Holger.. at least based on what I’m seeing here. Brandon didn’t have to do TOO much it looks like really..

Is it me or was Rune playing really deep behind the baseline too?

  3. When a player is coached by Kenneth Carlsen, known for the highest amount of first round grandslam-losses in open-era, then this result shouldn't come as a surprise.

  4. Rune sembra tutto fuorchè un giocatore promettente.
Davvero deludente vederlo perdere al primo turno 3 a 0 contro Nakashima che al contrario ha giocato benissimo.

  5. That's some woodshed moment for Nakashima. It's also a realization that Rune is not the guy many of us thought he was. He has lots to change.

  6. From all the Nordic players, the only one to trust is Ruud. Is a fighter, whereas Rusuvuori, Rune or the Ymers even trying hard are players with a lot of work to improve.

  7. Uh Oh! Are we seeing a newer American star emerging? That being said: Rune has been on a downward skid ever since he made those homophobic remarks. He appears to have serious mommy issues too

  8. Руне слабак. Ни подачи, ни приема мяча. Накашима полностью деклассировал руне. У руне был мондраж перед накашимой. С такой игрой руне надо играть в челленджах.

  9. Brandon hits super clean. Honestly he has the best textbook strokes of all the Americans. Nice to seen it return dividends.

  10. What a beatdown.

Holger believed too much on his own hype. All those i'm a member of the new big 3 are quite absurd.

He should try to focus as soon as possible or he'll become a shadow of what he was supposed to be

  11. Brandon has the game to be a top 20 player. While I wasn't entirely surprised he beat Rune, I was surprised at how easy it was.

  12. It's all mental. Rune had lost this match in his head even before he stepped on court. He has never advanced beyond 1st round in The Open and he has never beaten Brandon. His psyche simply can't deal with that and he desperately needs a mental coach. The problem is that a mental coach is useless if the athlete can't admit to himself that he needs it, and he still blames everything but his own head for his problems.

  13. Rune show off behavior ruined his game. He starts showing off after winning one point as he win grand slam
