Stephan A. is a sports personality. He is a character waiting to be plugged into a topic of discussion. It is so true that his knowledge of baseball can fit on the head of a dime but he has the nards to go full throttle into the conversation willing to speak extemporaneously from just that dime load.

LOL. The worst baseball analyst you say !? The reason why I laugh is that he has had the same reputation when he tried to be MMA analyst as well. Eventually as he got kicked out of the field, we don’t see him commentating UFC fights anymore even though UFC has a broadcasting contract with ESPN. It’s just that this dude is so arrogant and ignorant. He needs to stay in his territory, i.e. basketball.

Otani is not the most talented player ever. Babe Ruth was the best left-handed pitcher of this era in the first six years of his career and when he switched to regular play he was hitting more home runs than ENTIRE TEAMS. Evan taking into consideration he played in an era of segregation you can't put Otani above the Babe.
There are many like him. Rich Eisen only speaks about baseball during the playoffs and only if the Yankees or Mets are playing.
