  1. Stephan A. is a sports personality. He is a character waiting to be plugged into a topic of discussion. It is so true that his knowledge of baseball can fit on the head of a dime but he has the nards to go full throttle into the conversation willing to speak extemporaneously from just that dime load.

  2. They should bring old athletes to talk about sport.I remember right before i cut my cable tv one of the reasons was that i could not stand sports journals anymore and this was 7 years ago and this guy along with others were always terrible.

  3. He’s the fuckin worst. Talks out of his ass. He’s just the typical loud idiot. Shave that head …. Fuckin 6-head

  4. Stephen A doesn’t know baseball, MMA, or football. Maybe he knows basketball (not that big of a nba fan). Idk how is allowed to talk about so many things he has 0 knowledge of or why he doesn’t learn

  5. If you think he has the dumbest takes about baseball, wait until you hear him talk about basically anything else ever

  6. The way Stephan says it. Implies that Judge would not have this kinda season if not for Soto. Just forget 2022 huh?
Worst there been talk of the fact switch them to get judge more pitches

  7. Not knowing what you're talking about is pretty much par for the course for a Yankee fan.

You can say whatever you want about Judge, but If Ohtani does, indeed, go 50/50, that's going to be a bigger deal.

  8. LOL. The worst baseball analyst you say !? The reason why I laugh is that he has had the same reputation when he tried to be MMA analyst as well. Eventually as he got kicked out of the field, we don’t see him commentating UFC fights anymore even though UFC has a broadcasting contract with ESPN. It’s just that this dude is so arrogant and ignorant. He needs to stay in his territory, i.e. basketball.

  9. Smith is the biggest POS loud mouth on espn that knows nothing about sports how he still has a job with ESPN is mind blowing

  10. Speaking louder and using 8 syllable words you read in a thesaurus 10 mins before the show is not intelligence. But…people certainly mistake it for that.

  11. Stephen A%@hole Smith, I hate his commentaries, criticisms, much less his voice. Anytime he comes on I change the channel. He has a huge messiah complex when it comes to sports. My dream is to see him put on the pads, gloves, name it…go out and play the perfect game against the best athletes in any sport. That would be poetic justice.

  12. So what, let them. it’s good for the sport, as a baseball fan who always wanted for it to get the recognition as the nba and nfl does, I don’t mind it when the high rated sports analyst like StevenA talks about it even if he doesn’t know anything about the sport.

  13. Smith is one of those guys who found success but it is just baffling. He knows little. He has nothing to add to most discussions. He’s like Rob Schneider — basically talentless, but keeps making millions. Weird world we live in.

  14. These guys just yelling on TV is just another reason to not watch ESPN. They're loud obnoxious and don't have anything of substance or importance to say.

  15. There’s too much hate on this channel. You make hate vids ab a lot of ppl. Not a lot of hyping guys up. Ur like evil Jolly Olive.

  16. Mookie has been injured for almost 2months
Freemen is in and out of the lineup with injuries and family issues
Ohtani literally was the only superstar healthy this entire season.

Judge and Soto has been healthy this entire season. They are protecting each other.

So to say Ohtani has protection is a bit disingenuous.

He did 40/40 mostly by himself.
Soto and Judge had each other.

    Not hard to understand.

Finally, 50/50 is unheard of … 63HRs … been there done that.

To hit 50HRs and steal 50SB is really absurd esp off Tommy John surgery. Why is anyone not realizing that?

He still has to rehab and do all the training necessary for him to be succesful as a pitcher. It's not like he's sitting at home all day between games as a DH.

  17. To call him an analyst isn't accurate. He's just a blustering fool that's good at getting ratings by be inflammatory. A skill he learned years ago from his estranged father Skip Bayless

  18. I don’t enjoy him or any of the other talking heads on the debate shows who yell at each other. I enjoy sports…sports talk, not so much.

  19. Hey, iTalk, you nebbishy fuck, SAS was BORN in BX but raised/went to school in Hollis (Queens) maybe if you did more than just read the first paragraph of someone’s wiki you’d know that

  20. Otani is not the most talented player ever. Babe Ruth was the best left-handed pitcher of this era in the first six years of his career and when he switched to regular play he was hitting more home runs than ENTIRE TEAMS. Evan taking into consideration he played in an era of segregation you can't put Otani above the Babe.

  21. There are many like him. Rich Eisen only speaks about baseball during the playoffs and only if the Yankees or Mets are playing.
