Trophy…why doesn’t Day get credit for basically kicking Georgia’s butt until Georgia figured out they had to disable (assault) M.H. Jr if they wanted to win the game. Not to mention the refereeing Day has had to deal with in the playoffs and at meatchicken…

Legit question: Let’s say OSU is 11-0 going into The Game (#1 in B1G), and UM is sitting at 5-6… Should Ohio State sit their starters as they would have already clinched a bye in the playoffs? We’ve all been indoctrinated to believe that The Game is the end all/be all, and in the past perhaps that was true. OSU typically NEEDED to beat UM in order to win the B1G. However, with the new infrastructure, there’s way too much at stake to lose significant starters in a game that honestly means nothing in the bigger picture. All it would take is a FSU type scenario with Jordan Travis and the entire season is down the drain. Coaches get fired and kids will transfer. Risk may not be worth the reward anymore.
Have we forgotten the past 3 yrs? Everybody picks Ohio State to dominate the Big Ten and beat Michigan, and they were wrong. To me, we should just have our season and stop all of these so called predictions. Week 1 GT over FS for example. Just stop with the preseason predictions, and play ball.
Cooper was 2-10-1 vs. Michigan. It took them 13 years to fire that nightmare. Day is fine.

RJ, they have been spending millions on recruiting long before NIL was legal! Yes, they always win the offseason, money creates that competitive advantage, but they will loose a game or two this year! Ryan day is a lawn chair; once a team applies enough pressure he will fold.
Heck yeah, the best team money can buy. Football is a joke now. Michigan is being punished for something everyone does, but the real criminals are getting away with murder. Where is the NCAA, and the Big 10 commissioner?

For the 20 million Ohio State spent to build this team, there will be no real satisfaction if they win it all. Hell they should win it! They bought all of the best players. It’s almost no contest except against the other huge spenders.
Everybody else can just forget about it. There maybe two or three other teams that spent on its level. So really it’s the same playoff as before with only the superficial show of giving more teams a chance. Final 4 same as ever. Ohio State, Oregon, Alabama and Georgia. Unless some of those teams meet before the final four. The seating for the tournament will probably insure those teams are represented.

does OSU have a person(s) who stand on their sideline and obtain(steal) signs during the game (they do)??? and doing so is/is not allowed? and is it ok for an opposing coach to hire a law firm to investigate another coach/team? this whole thing smells like a pile of BS from someone who has lost three in a row….
I don't think I've ever been this pumped up & ready for a college football season! I Can't wait…..big time school switching conferences, 12 team playoff and just the excitement around The Ohio State Buckeyes! Let's Gooo! Go Buckeyes!!!!!
