Recently picked up a used Taylor made rbz 3H feels good to hit off tee and ground but struggling to hit it straight

Does the ball start straight and slice or does it start right? I have the same miss with woods and I tend to get pretty flat with my swing. My fix is feeling like I’m raising the club high up in the air on the back swing. It brings the club path more neutral for me, whereas a slice is moving out to in on the swing.
