  1. I get into a rut in my bunker game every so often where I get no loft at all on the ball, it basically skews along the bottom and slams into the face of the bunker. If it happens to get out, it’s because it rode up the face and barely pops out on to the fringe. Not sure if it means I’m coming in too steep or too shallow.

  2. Can I come for a free bunker lesson then you can see how I manage to thin it through the green with technique 2 😂

  3. Hey Chris, long time follower here. Great video. Can you please make an indepth video similar to this one, but for fairway bunkers. That is definitely a weakness in my game. Thank you

  4. This is great
    … simple, easy 👍🏻
    BUT …

We’ve had an awful lot of rain here in the Midwest in the USA this year. The bunkers are packed down, wet, hard … NOT soft sand,;in fact, very little sand 😩

How do you adjust for different sand conditions?
    (a follow up video, perhaps?)

    Good stuff. Thank, Chris 🙏🏻

  5. Great video Chris, all lesson without any extra stuff. Some people show what not to do more than what we should be doing.

  6. Pretty much lost a competition getting stuck in a bunker on 2 occasions during a round. It's sole destroying – hopefully these techniques will help! Great content again, Chris

  7. Hmm, I will try that "hit the sand onto the green" swing thought. I often bounce in the sand too early making the club bounce onto the ball resulting in a rabbit killer. When i try to correct it I take the ball too clean, resulting in a shot with way too much power….

  8. It’s interesting to see for the higher level bunker shots, Chris moves away from an open stance which from what I understand is now less conventional wisdom

  9. I had been taught the "open face, open stance" method, and have used it fairly successfully for some time. I am just now changing to the method you have so clearly articulated here. Your video has provided a really good explanation, and examples, for me to work with. Thanks much. Oh, and I sent it to my son, who is just getting back into golf. We had a conversation on this exact subject a few days ago and you explain it much better than I was able to.
