  1. Wow, this match was the showdown of shida's prowess. She was solid the whole match. Amazing defence, there are fewer errors than she has ever done before, great stamina, and attacks. She even showed creativity, which was usually matsuyama's forte. Matsuyama is also still amazing. Cretivity was a bit under her usual standard and a bit error prone in the second match. Nevertheless, both did a great job and cheering for you!!! Matsushida!!

  2. The winning difference in this match was Shida's attack. She's formidable in defense but this time she also had a varied attack rather than just straight smashes.

  3. 最後は素晴らしい志田のショットで勝利が決まった瞬間は最高でした。強敵な相手でしたが勝利して最高の笑顔を魅せてくれた志田松ペア、この笑顔はオリンピックに取って置きたいほどです。これからも2人で頑張っている姿をいつまでもみたいです!

  4. Great match. The stated rankings of 2 vs 6 is rather misleading as, in reality, this is 2 vs 3, which explains why this contest was so close between these four players. It was also a match between two pairs with brilliant defenses hence why the rallies are so long. I actually think it is a pity that the Japanese pair are not more attacking in their play. I have watched matches with them going absolute beast mode and they are a formidable attacking pair capable of putting anyone to the sword.
