Welcome! Now put your 3H in the trunk where it belongs, you won’t need it anymore

I have a 15-20 yard gap between my 5i and 4H. I might stick one of these in my bag next season.

My 5h is my favorite club in my bag. Maybe I should get a 7 wood too.

Welcome to the club of the easiest golf club to hit and that goes far 😀 !

My heavenwood has a halo around it. Only club I’ve purchased that actually improved my game.

Callaway has the best 7ws imo, lol this is only based on me also having a callaway 7w and nothing else

you won’t regret it. Last year I (8 hdcp) also switched to a 9 and 11 wood! I see so many high handicappers trying in vain to hit irons and hybrids when they could hit these new woods so much higher and longer (and easier).

The 5w never left my bag. Love that club

  9. I’m going to ask a really stupid question. What’s different when swinging a wood from an iron or even hybrid?

I’ve got a 5h which I use as a pretty reliable fairway finder off tee going about 180 or so yards. Less consistent with it not off tee but that’s a me issue. The package set I’ve got came with a 5W too and I just have no consistency with it at all – it rarely (if ever) goes as far as the 5h and more often than not ends up with a wicked slice. So what do I need to do different?

I’m aware I’m piggybacking on a 7w appreciation post (sorry about that, I’m sure they’re awesome) which others have said would do the same as my 5h. So I suppose I’m curious why other people prefer hitting a wood to a hybrid

Hmm, I have a 4H and 5W in my bag, and the distances aren’t too far apart (~190 vs ~210). I am curious how a 7W would do in my hands.
