  1. Is there a swing speed where going from the Hot Metal to the Hot Metal HL makes sense? For example, I swing my 7 iron at about 80 mph but tend to hit it low. Would the HL's be a significant benefit?

  2. This is the same story as the previous generation 923 line. I'd be curious to see what kind of gains (if any) there are 925 vs 923. Negligible if I had to guess.

  3. Would the HL be an option for someone with 88mph 7i, but tends to drag the handle and deloft it a bit?

  4. I play the 923 HM HL – In my fitting I was hitting the standard HM really well, but wanted that extra height the HL provides because the course I play most has very firm zoysia greens. I'm by no means a slow swing speed player, but decided to go with the HL for the extra stopping power. Used to be about a 29 handicap, since being fit into the 923 HL I've dropped that down to 12. Love this family of irons!

  5. I have the JPX923 HMPs. The look of the 5 iron is so off-putting down at the ball (looks like it has a caboose attached to it) that I replaced it with a hybrid. Can you see lots of back looking down at the 4 iron? Also, I've ordered Mizuno irons about 4 or 5 times over the years from fitting days, fits at golf shops, etc. EVERY set came to me a 1/2 inch long! I'd send back and get a refund. At first I blamed it on poor QC. But after the last set (the JPX923s), I can only conclude it is their business model. EXTREMELY ANNOYING!

  6. What effect would the offset have between the pro and the hm. I play 923 hm now and wonder if the 925 pro is a big jump. Thank you both

  7. I feel like the tour has been replaced more by the new 41-45 range. Would love to see a comparison between the hot metal lineup and the 243/45 which I feel I would like either but do not understand the difference between one over the other

  8. I have the 923 HM irons and at times they almost go too far. Anyone have a recommendation for a players CB that would still provide some distance but not like the 923 + a slimmer profile ?

  9. Coming from the 921 forged the 925 HM Pro are interesting. Based on what I have seen the offset specs are really close. I would not mind a similar type iron with the extra forgiveness and distance.
