I got fitted for a G430 Max 10k but after a month I sold it. My 6 year old TS2 goes just as good and doesn't feel like I'm swinging a bucket on a stick. I'm keen on trying a GT2 though $$$ 🤣😉
There really great drivers that are 2 to 3 years old from a technology standpoint that are half the price of these new drivers and perform just as well. Heck even a Costco driver for $200 will compete with these drivers for most people. If you want more distance then spend your money on some lessons with a pro than on equipment. Equipment can’t fix your swing mechanics.
Love my Q10, more fairways hit and a least 15 yards further!
I just got a new to me, TM M1. It’s an upgrade from my R11S.
It doesn't matter what driver I buy . I can't seem to hit them
I still use my Cobra F9 and still there no reason to trade. I just change my new shaft cause old one broke. I still hit it straight and bomb further than most guys with their new driver
Upgraded from taylormade slider to the SIM 2 max and I've noticed a night and day difference
For me, I got done by lazy fitters in stores. Almost every year/18months – until I got one who actually took their time, analysed everything and let me try all different combinations.
Now in tour stiff and 90% of the time crushing fairways. Same with irons.
A lazy fitter is an absolute plague
Great analysis! Thanks for the well thought out research
The new QI10 max changed my driving. It’s very golfer dependant
My adams speed fast 12 on an old proforce stiff shaft goes 290 dead straight all day. Total 60 dollars spent
Great vid 👍 that Replay is down the road from me 😁
Just about any driver since 2000 or so is ok by me.
I was a 5 hc in 2000 and today at 71 I’m a 7. Drivers have never ever made much of a difference in my scores.
Gave up my big boy musclebacks five years ago; still favor my Titleist TSi 3 now with a Diamana 40g S shaft and can’t believe how easy it is to hit my old Ping Rapture V2J.
Sure my drives dwindled from 260+ carry 30 years ago to 230 on a good day today but my scores haven’t changed much. It’s in the putting… greens reading actually.
For older guys, don’t waste money on drivers. Get your eyes or correctional equipment taken care of first.

I’m really sorry but if ur going to spend £550 on a driver why would u go for a stock shaft. U save up and spend £300 on a aftermarket shaft so that it shaft is fitted for u. If u get a shaft u can keep it for years and just buy a new head every 2 yrs.
I have the Ping G425. Bought it earlier this year. It works great with my new hip. I chased the latest greatest in my youth. Now I’d rather buy something that works, and learn how to hit it. Same with my irons and putter. The Scottie Cameron’s look great, but why? You can buy a lot of balls, tees, and gloves with $500.
917D2 still rocking hits fairways and sounds amazing
Im a high swing speed player. I have to update my drivers to stay in the warranty bcuz i crack faces. Ive cracked a Cobra F9, Calloway epic & a stealth…twice.
Yea I’m cool with the 250-260 yards I average with my Sim.
I think a ton of people still have their Ping G400 max because if I’m not mistaken G400 Max also hit the 10k mark.
Obviously the ping max either isn’t selling or people love it. I’m going with love it
The new Titleist GT sucks. I am still going to game my TSr.
Meh, my qi10 is staying in the bag. Love that club
I never spend $599 on a new driver. I know my specs, 55g, R, 12* adjustable, swing speed, launch and spin windows, then I wait for them to get discounted or find a good second hand used one.
This might be one of the most hack job golf vids I've ever seen
So you’re telling me it’s my skill, not my driver? 🤯
2020 Calaway Mavrik… Haven’t looked back since
Dont matter what driver, if ur swing path is busted ur not guna hit fairways let alone gain any distance, went thru the same with baseball as a kid, always needed the new bat every year, never got more hits, that came with more work at a hitting instructor, id say screw the $699 spemd that on lessons and fix that swing
Bought a ping g15 out of the clearance at dick's for 45 dollars like 2 years ago. Thing goes dead straight 275 yards.
Was about to swap my driver… swapped shafts and made a world of difference. My wife decided to call the divorce off and I got a raise at work!
Great video
My preowned Callaway rogue max hasn’t rusted
Love your attitude about this bag and not caring about what people will say. kislux You are right keep your head up and no your priorities.
I’m glad I have the ls qi10. I took out all the changes. I set everything back to even so I can see what the baseline is when I’m not dealing with something that wants to sky the ball and cut off a draw
