I recently purchased the ladies Callaway clubs from Costco. They’re really nice clubs so I would like to keep them. I have since learned that I require ladies “petite” clubs. I’m not sure if I should have these clubs cut down. I’m a beginner so I don’t yet understand how the weight of the clubs factor into the equation. I think you can add weight back on. Any recommendations?

Petite clubs aren’t so much about weight as they are about length. My wife is short(5 foot) and so we got her petite clubs. If you feel that they’re a bit too long you can always have the shafts cut down a half inch or so
I know for hockey sticks, cutting very small lengths from a stick can alter the flex dramatically. Talk with a pro shop guy before chopping off a few inches.
