Show me a harder golf course? Troia golf course
This is the fourth episode of our new series PORTUGAL UNTAPPED where me and Ebay pete will be exploring the lesser known golf courses around the Lisbon area the first of these courses is Troia!

This is what every course looks like to me.
Pffft! Softcocks. Soft as butter on a 45C day. If you want tough, play the Nullabor Links. Find it. You've NEVER seen anything like it, longest in the world.
To begin, a week earlier, as a prelude, set off to Tasmania to play the Lost Farm and Barnbougle Dunes courses, probably number 1 and 2 best courses in the world, and I'm serious. Then take the overnight ferry, or fly, to play Royal Melbourne if you can get on, it's always in the top 10. THEN! Only then should you set off to play the world's longest golf course. Begin on a 3,500 kilometre journey to play the Nullarbor links, it's on You Tube somewhere. Having finished that, continue on for a few more days to play the Golf Coast near Perth, stunning courses, finishing at The Cut on a summer day with the sea breeze blowing. Saint Rory might shoot an 80, if he plays his best and prays hard.
Just the Nullarbor Links golf course is 1,365 kilometres long, 18 holes, par 72. Take snakebite kits, an emergency sat navigation phone, 200 litres of water and 200 litres of sunscreen. Food and fuel pumps can be a few hundred kilometres apart out there. You've never lived, never played golf until you've done this trip.
PS, I would definitely throw in the Robert Trent Jones designed Joondalup, Quarry and Dunes 9's (there's your clue, and it's scenic, different, spectacular, not easy) combined 18, also in Perth.

course i have ever played the fairways were like greens and the greens were like putting on glass, absolutely superb, you and Ebay are like a comedy double act

EBay is the sort of bloke that if you turn up to the monthly medal to be told you are playing with him, it just makes your day. You know you are going to enjoy your round and have a laugh with a good club player. Such a gent.
I would love to see EBay and Dave the Pro take on Liam and YMJ. Winners take on Mr Barlow and OMP.
