Trying to overcome early extension.

Curious as to thoughts on how my progress is coming, or what I could do better. It seems to take massive feel changes to make slight swing changes in real life.

Hands too close to your body at address, stand further away.

I found focusing on hip rotation helped reduce my early extension, but your hips are very open at impact (which is a good thing). Another thing that helped me is feeling like I’m doing a mini squat as my first move to start my downswing (mimicing Tommy fleetwood in a way)… that encourages my butt to stay back a bit more

Once you hit that chandelier I’ll be able to help you

You are very close. You might try to focus on not raising your trail heel for a fraction longer. It’s a good feel for getting rid of that last bit of extension.

I’ve been working on early extension for a while and I agree, the feels are so much different now than when I was swinging the club with my cobbled together self taught swing.

  4. Keep swinging till you have that lightbulb moment 💡

Damn that swing looks good. Judging by the divot too.
