It baffles me that people say that any variant of the only club we use for all 18 holes (barring a chip in) is too expensive. The most expensive (read as spend the money to get properly fitted) things in your bag should be your shoes, your putter, your gloves, and your choice in golf ball. All 4 of those are getting used for the entirety of a round with no breaks
