Pioneers: The World’s First Ladies’ Golf Club | A St Andrews Links Film

The St Andrews Ladies Putting Club was formed in 1867, in St Andrews the Home of Golf.

Located just off the 1st fairway of the Old Course, the club still exists today, with putting matches and public play taking place on the famous ‘Himalayas’ Course.

Maintained by the St Andrews Links Trust, the course is well loved by visitors and locals alike who play on its hills and hollows.

This is the story of the Ladies Putting Club of St Andrews.
