Hitting a golf ball using a hybrid is something golfers will often do for their second shots on long par-5. Or they may select that type of club in order to hit the ball off the tee on a short par-4 or a long par-3. Whatever the circumstance, make sure that you position the ball correctly in your stance.
For golf shots using a hybrid from the fairway (without a tee) you should position the ball 3 balls-width away from the instep of your front foot.
For golf shots using a hybrid from the teeing ground with a tee you should position the ball a little more forward in your stance. Specifically, you can position the ball 2 balls-width away from the instep of your front foot. Doing so will give the club time to rise off the ground and catch the ball cleanly on its perched position on the tee.
For both shots, a reminder to adopt a larger stance by positioning your feet a little further away than shoulders’ width.

No BS , just straight forward advice. Great.
Great video Pete – could you advise if we should focus on front or back of the ball when playing hybrids off the ground and off the tee? Thanks.
