Hitting a golf shot straight (certainly the driver) is what makes golf so difficult! Most golfers struggle with slicing the golf ball, hooking the golf ball and losing the golf ball into the water or the trees!
This golf club is the most forgiving golf club ever and makes golf so much easier!
My limited edition merch is now available – thanks so much for the support so far!

Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel! This YouTube channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf equipment reviews, golf instruction & I play against some of the best golfers in the world!
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!

It would be great if there was a decent quality "easy golf" set with a easy to hit, non-conforming driver and fairway wood, long, middle, and short iron (long being more hybrid-ish, short more iron-ish), a chipper, a flat-bottom sand wedge, and mallet putter. Just keep things simple.
Always go straight? Well clearly they don't
How narrow are those driving range bays?!
It's the loft of a hybrid, length of a hybrid and goes hybrid distance… So it's a hybrid, not a driver
So is this a 10 minute advertisement for Top Golf?
What makes it non-conforming?
Bang on Rick. Get on it
Sure, it's not going to be for everyone, but I'd bet that many golfers who struggle with their driver would rather hit it 200 yards onto the fairway rather than 300 yards into the woods. It definitely could make the game more attractive for those who don't play as much or can't invest the time.
Check out junior clubs which are basically the same as these .. and as far as I am aware legal – MK pro clubs my son uses are super easy to hit .. shorter, more loft , large head etc
I want to see some of these long driver competitors try this club at Top Golf and see if they can hit it over the net lol
Yeah, it's easier to hit the fairway with a 200 club than a 280 club, this is not shocking. If you were hitting those 280, like 4 more would have missed the fairway left and your fairways hit would be less than half. You could easily accomplish the same thing hitting a 5 iron or hybrid.
I mean heck why do the majority of golfers need conforming clubs? The average joe isn’t going to be playing in tournaments or anything where that matters. So yeah big companies should just release non conforming clubs for the majority of golfers, make it easier, pick up pace of play. Everyone wins!
Rick back at the OG The Trafford Centre. I would love one of these clubs. EBay here I come some scaly will steal one 😂
I have been a Topgolf two times. With the amount of people who try to hit it over the net, it did not take me long to suspect that the drivers were designed to not go that far. Same thing with the balls. Topgolf is fun, but it’s not golf. It looks like golf and sounds like golf but it’s closer to bowling than it is golf. In my opinion.
What actually makes it non conforming?
Why not just use a hybrid on your drives?
We have the same on, collab? 😂👀
How much does Topgolf pay for these commercials?
Rick – another product review but without a link where we might find it. Please include a link
I swing an old m1 12 degree with a stiff shaft and it is amazing for me. It balloons in the wind, but, find myself in the fairway often. I love it
Reasonable idea but I think a new golfer without any tuition would still be able to hit that club anywhere on the course and also I think if you were to hit your normal driver that slow and smooth you’d probably find more fairways but just a lot further back 🤷🏻♂️
That is the 7 wood distance
Imagine pitching up at a country club with those things. 😂
Be grate for hitting off the deck
This is absolute nonsense. Firstly hybrid length and hybrid loft but not a hybrid? Does a massive head make it a driver!?
Also absolutely against making the game easier. The joy is in the grind and earning your stripes. “Growing the game” has gone way too far and ruins it for the regulars
sign me up for a hybrid driver
Now every hack that shows up @ a TopGolf location with a dusty asf swing will think they're Bryson.
A couple of things
1. Even if they made one with, say, a 15° loft, it would still be easier to hit than a regular driver.
2. With that loft (15° or 20°), your average weekend (18 hcp) golfer would probably use this off the deck for their second shot on Par 5s and long par 4s.
Funny, I was just reading a post by Tom Wishon today that was making this point for shorter drivers.
Golf is full of snobbery and gatekeeping. Always has been, always will be.
