This is not a good news. Aew should do anything to keep them and use them as 1 of the best tag teams. Fenix always had 10/10 matches no matter when he was in a tag team or single.
I mean it's a huge loss but also they've done all there is to do in AEW they've been AEW tag Champs in still one of my favorite AEW matches of all time vs the Young bucks at All In 2021 in a steel cage match they've been trios Champs and they were even ROH Champs for a little bit. I really wish Tony Khan did more with them as singles tho because Penta was great in Lucha underground and was impact world champ at one time. I think they're good as gone especially considering you heard about fenix pulling out of an indie in October. Hate seeing them leave but I wish them good luck they definitely deserve a WWE run and to make as much money as possible before they decide to retire.
Guarantee they will get treated the same way every other luchador who isnt mysterio gets treated. Cant wait for the constant what chants from the braindead audience

I don't think WWE will do anything with the Lucha Brothers ,judging how well the lucha wrestlers are doing currently in WWE it will be short time before both Penta and Fenix will want to be back in Mexico .Dragon Lee is basically a jobber and the only two wrestlers who represented the Lucha style done anything since 1980's is Rey and Eddie.
AEW dropped the ball with Fenix .He is 33 years old can be the second coming of Rey Mysterio if pushed correctly and have the size. Penta is 40 years old and is been wrestling for nearly 25 years i don't think his body will let him continue for another 5-6 years the way he is wrestling.
The biggest mistake AEW done in my personal opinion is letting Daniel Garcia leaving he is the real deal ,have chance to develop into a super star and doesn't have any baggage a blank canvas for HBK and Regal to create something really special…
Ricky Starks is another one leaving AEW but for most of you ,who think Ricky will be any good in WWE ,he is very strong headed as much other promotions push him in the past /including AEW he always finds way to be on the shelf in exact moment when he can get great push/NWA he was pushed to be a champion ,left the promotion as soon AEW give him a trial/.People forget Ricky was in WWE and never made it even to NXT.
Thereโs nothing left for them in AEW so a move to WWE will be great for them
Its all good, i watch all wrestling, they will still be on my tv. with them gone i want to see more of the gunns or top flight, hell give me more private party, butcher and the blade. this will open the doors to other teams that need it. and improve wwe tag division

You can have a major PLE show in Mexico with Penta and Fenix challenging for the tag team championship, specially if their opponents are the Bloodline or The Judgement Day.
Good for them. They were my favorite act in AEW. When they jobbed to Jurassic Express I started losing interest in AEW. I doubt they will get a huge push in WWE either but itโs better than putting over vanilla midgets
I think the reason they dont put Penta on TV since his match against Butcher is because the same reason Ricky Starks and Wardlow are not on AEW Tv
AEW and TK know that these guys want out and are heading to WWE so thereยดs no point on their side to feature them ans spend tv time and money over guys that actually want to be there

Lucha Bros leaving AEW is not a big loss. They had already accomplished in AEW, being AEW tag team champions and trios champions, even Fenix was a 1 time International champion. They were never going to reach the brass ring anyways. If they stay in AEW, they're going to be stagnant and complacent. It's time for them to change, give WWE a chance. They'll be fine over there than in AEW.

They are over eith the audience, always work hard and are AEW originals. They were there since the beginning. I understand that not everybody can be world champion but there's no excuse for these guys not even winning a midcard title, there's like 5 of those and Fenix only won one because Mox was injured midmatch and they called an audible. Both of these guys could've had multiple reigns with the TNT or the International titles or maybe even the ROH world title. They could've had multiple tag title reigns atleast. Nothing. What have they done on TV in the last couple years that's worthwhile? Nothing.

Man, WWE tag team division is going to excel with this tag team. Plus the MCMG, with DIY, Finn and JD, Street Profits, pretty deadly, good brothers, Usos, Tama and Jacob

The reasons why both Penix & Fenix trademark for new names is the former promotion AAA has the rights to the names hence why both of them are doing this, that is if folks bother to watch the Lucha blogs in Spanish, also they both didn't appear in the CMLL event after their only appearance & which MJF also made an appearance
Pac will be fine without lucha bros when they goes to WWE NXT brand
