African Safari Golf | Adventures In Golf Season 4

African Safari Golf | Adventures In Golf Season 4

Gazelles and Giraffes and Warthogs, oh my! Africa is the next stop on this animal-filled Adventures In Golf, presented by United. Erik travels to Hans Merensky Hotel and Spa in Phalaborwa, South Africa bordering Kruger National Park, to play a golf course that lets the wildlife roam free.

The main rule of safari golf is you shouldn’t be on the course at dusk. Guess where Erik finds himself at dusk… Thankfully, no Eriks were harmed in the making of this episode, and the payoff is pretty sweet.

  1. Man I love golf, I’m not any good haha I played 9 holes today in 50. It was such a great time tho, even a terrible round has some really fun shots to be had. A few horrible shots and a few that really made me smile, golf really is a great way to spend your day. Out in nature chasing that beautiful shot, a great part of life. Love the show Erik, much appreciated 🙏🙏

  2. Classic Americans requiring subtitles for the Afrikaner accent

EDIT: ok they’ve even got subtitles for the British South African accent, which is one of the cleanest English accents in the world 😂

  3. Not a good look is it. Hacking down a section of nature reserve to build a golf course, in a country ridden with poverty. All i see on tv is adverts for donating money, to african children who have to walk miles for barely drinkable water.. and this course is spraying clean water to keep colour in their grass.

  4. Go play Leopard Creek Top 2 golf course in South Africa based in Malalane. You'll be surprised

  5. hi, south african here. not all of our courses are this shitty but many of them are way worse

  6. Damn this looks amazing! I know it can't compare but one of my favourite course in the UK is Knole Park, the views are amazing and there are herds of deer everywhere. You'll be putting and there will be a couple of males with full on antlers just grazing and chilling, I try not to take offence when they walk off after watching my first putt

  7. When I played , we were on a Par 3 and my uncle’s ball was going into one of the dams , but hit a hippos head and bounced back onto the green almost in the hole, one of the most unbelievable moments of my life
