i agree mostly with what Simon was saying, Rooney is a great guy and was a great player, but Iโm still not sure if he will become a good manager let alone a great one. Is he a good tactical manager? Iโm not sure.. if he keeps trying to improve then who knows
Feel sorry for Plymouth.
If rooney would want to become a good manager… taking his track record, shouldn't he go back to basics and sign up as an assistant to someone successful?
Plymouth fans should be very grateful to Rooney; relegating Birmingham saved them!
the pooducers tell and pay jordan to say what he paid and told to say . Weak as a Wooney
Checked all Dustin Hoffman's online socials and surprisingly he still hasnt mentioned bumping into Jim White….
He brought togetherness at Birmingham? Destroyed player morale, fans hated him and we got relegated.
Sacked by Christmas ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Rooney he looks more like an ex sumo wrestler than a ex professional footballer.
Dim mcWhite backs another no hoper……overall win ratio 26.2 percent……great players do not make great managers
He thought Plymouth was a posh word for eating.
Go an do your best lad an good on ya! Didn't we all love a tryer once ! Best of luck
It's also important that there's a Greggs and witherspoons near the ground ๐๐๐
Is Jim seriously trying to defend Rooney dropping Blues from sixth place to losing 9 in 15 games?
Argyle, one of the worse teams in the league have just appointed the worse manager in that league. What could go wrong? I suppose the positives for Plymouth is this appointment raises their profile and Rooney management career has been poor, he doesnโt need the hassle or the money, so the fact heโs going to Plymouth shows he must be be hungry and desperate to succeed. By the law of averages he has to come good at some time.
Rooney does not have the correct personality to be a football manager & I believe this will be his last job. I could be wrong but I have a strong feeling I won't be.
Because you were a good or great player doesn't give you any right to be a good manager
Classic case if great player doesn't make a great manager.
I think he will do a good job at Plymouth. Was a class player and think he will come good. Was not bad at Derby. Birmingham was not great but then all top
Managers have had clubs they have not done well at
Sounds like Rooney has been listening to fegurson on YouTube ๐
Emmmmm
Nothing appealing about him when he talks…
This is true, what's his philosophy? has none.
Not cut out for modern day management
Wayne Ruining ๐
AI's interpretation of Rooneys dialogue shows they understand him as poorly as we do.
The Jeff Bezos comment was hilarious ๐
Rooney needs to sort out his personal life before managing another club
Rooney Rooney
Well thats one relegation spot filled for the 24-25 season.
Just like we all don't know who Simon is as a successful business man โค
These guys are hilarious. Love them. But they do have a man utd agenda. Just talking about utd gives them millions of views ๐
Mumbling nonsense ๐๐
Watch your toes
Wonโt get till end of October.
I would like see Lampard get is next managerial opportunity
As great a player as Rooney was he was a child prodigy who had everything done for him from 12 years old and hasnโt even had to manage his own life let alone a football club, i think punditry is the only option
Are football clubs employing Rooney to attract sponsors because of his celebrity?
I originally wished him all of the best ( and did actually believe that he was partly successful at Derby given their circumstances) but it hasn't been good enough since Derby. And yes I did watch his games at D.C United.
Bloody hell…Simon really is a bore..
I love simon dont particularly like rooney but these managers that dont do well, they need new jobs they cant just stop ๐
Certainly a bold appointment. Time will tell.
