The Best Irons I’ve EVER HIT – But At WHAT PRICE!?

The Best Irons I’ve EVER HIT – But At WHAT PRICE!? When it comes to buying golf clubs we often think about buying the best big names such as Taylormade irons, ping irons, Mizuno irons and of course callaway irons… in todays video we test the brand new 2024 Callaway Apex Ti Fusion irons. these are not only some of the best forgiving irons I think I’ve ever seen, the best forgiving irons of 2024 and potentially some of the best irons for mid handicap golfers. But does it stop there? I think for the price these could well be some of the. best low handicap irons, a hefty price tag means I can’t see that many golfers buying these irons which is a crying shame… just how good are the new Callaway Apex Ai Irons? let’s find out…

  1. All of this club stuff. Most golfers would do better going to the range and/or putting/green and practicing. If they can find a good teaching , take lessons

  2. Another marketing company serving the same stuff in a different package. Very nice clubs. Nice review. Keep playing your Takomos James.

They kind of look like Titleist irons with a different paint job.

  3. Aren’t the Apex line of irons better suited for low to mid handicap players or are they good for an 18 handicap like myself?

  4. Fantastic review James and they do look stunning but for the money I would be disappointed with the paint chipping off, hopefully they will have them available in brushed steel looking

  5. I can’t wait to get my hands on these in 2030-2035 when I might be able to afford them. Looks like I am never going to buy brand new callaways, titelist and Taylor mades… i hope Wilson keeps their price point but if not.. then budget prices golf clubs are going to be for me!

  6. I don’t play forged irons because I want my grooves to last longer, I got kids to feed! But with the durability of titanium these would be nice!

  7. These Iron are not that good, I tried the P770, and T150 over the weekend. The T150 was impressive by far. So much so I traded my P770s in for a new set of T150

  8. They look great. I would like to see a comparison of these and the old titanium faced Fusion or FT irons. I bet there wouldn’t be much difference if you compared loft to loft…

  9. I love the sound and look of the clubface not huge fan of its looks overall and clearly my impression are what truly matters lol. I still really like the cobra 3-D printed clubs. Wrote this after only seeing the all black irons. The silver second set you brought out look amazing for sure.

  10. How can Callaway or PXG/Taylormade justify these exorbitant prices and we all know that in 8 months they will replace them with done more!! I think that we the public should boycott being taken for a ride

  11. 2000 is 4 years of members dues at my club for Senior rates. No way will I ever pay that for hunk of metal on a end of a stick. 😅

  12. The rumor on the delay for these from the Apex21 was that they were too expensive so Callaway had to go back and figure out how to get the price down lol

  13. If I'm spending $3,500 CAD for Callaway irons ( I'm a huge Callaway equipment user) and they scratch up like that after 1 or 2 outings on the golf course I would be taking them back. That's just unacceptable for that much money.

  14. 2000 pounds or $2600 is not for everybody, to be sure. However, if you drive an Aston Martin or a Lambo, it's chump change. I drive an 8 year old Silverado; I'm looking for Tokomo!

  15. They look nice James but they are a total rip off. I thought Titleist irons were expensive.! Callaway will probably launch a replacement iron in 12 months!

  16. When it comes to black irons, the Cobra King Forged MB/CB irons black finish seems to be one of the most durable.

  17. Couldn't justify that cost although would like to as my iron game could do with all the help it can get! lol

  18. Perfect irons with an enormous price. Great video but not for me! The cost is absolutely ridiculous. I’m ashamed of Callaway.

  19. For anyone out there keeping count, 2000 sterling pounds is $3500 Canadian!!! Trust me when I tell you, we do not get paid in larger sums of money for the same jobs done here in Canada that are being done in the UK or in the USA. OMG. 😢😮😂

As you can see, I have mixed emotions. I appreciate the research and technology, but…

  20. Apart from the titanium fusion, the tech is the same as all the other brands. PXG brought out the hollow bodied irons at a high price and have brought many of the prices down, that was until the most recent, which have risen to the £200+ mark. Paying touring pro's expensive contracts, is where the higher costs are going. The golden goose, will stop laying, if golf manufacturers think they can continue asking more each year.

  21. Love the channel man but….. everything can’t be the best. I get it, the name of the game is clicks but we gotta stop with everything is the best.
