  1. Such a great and critical discussion about mental health and well being. So essential to show to as many people as possible. That’s what the world needs right now! Thank you for being open and vulnerable 🙏

  2. Im 55 years old been watching the tour since Robert Miller days in the eighties and all road cycling since more races got televised. To this day i dont see Lance as disgraced but a seven time tour winner, and wiggos rise from the velodrome to the road to winning the tour. Fking guts almighty……holy moly Tony Doyle theres a name from the past i remember him when i was a wee boy.

  3. Great to see Brad looking healthy and ready to move into the next chapter of his life. As someone who had the pleasure of riding with him, I'm so glad to see him making those steps forward.

One quick note for Lance: It's great to see you sitting down and having this kind of open and honest interview with people. To make it even better, try and ask or bring up one point at a time and let the person talk about it. At one point you were talking for 4 mins covering 3 or 4 different points from Brad's life without letting him comment about them. The Move is all about Lance (as it should be), the Forward needs to be about the person being interviewed. Keep up the great work. And bring Brad back for the whole tour next year! Brad could have his own sub-podcast talking about the history of the climbs and riders for each of the stages.

  4. As an Irishman, I loathe the British press purely for the reason that they cannot honour and embrace the British heroes and heroines of sport. It seems that they have to constantly tear them down. Very different here in Ireland, where the press tend to treat the greats with genuine affection and the respect they deserve. It is shameful, utterly shameful, what we have seen the British press print about Brad these past few weeks. And the sad thing is, they won’t stop. They’ll come to Cav, now that he has retired. And, in due course, they’ll come for G.

  5. This is some powerful stuff. As someone who has been battling his demons over the past few years I can honestly say this conversation has helped me figure some things out myself. Had the fortune to meet Sir Brad a day or two prior to London 2012 with my kids when the team were on a recon ride. Still have the autographed flag and my kids have a lifelong memory. Nothing but admiration for this guy and kudos for being so open. Wishing him better fortune going forward 👊

  6. I recently paid good money to see Brad talk to a bike loving audience about his life, career and less so, his fall from grace, i went into his dressing room upstairs at Stevenage Leisure Centre for him to sign a shirt for me that now hangs on my wall along with an authentic signed by Bradley 2012 Yellow jersey…he reveals more in this interview than he did that night but i guess that’s easier to do in a one to one basis with LA than it is in front of a large crowd. Incidentally, the British press are scum and cowards..onwards and upwards Bradley 🥇🚴🏻‍♂️🎉

  7. It is funny yt doesn't allow tits from carnival, but cheerer are free to shifting all around

  8. I thought that you can just be given a knighthood. You don't have to cycle though the lesser titles. It's just a policital process. The civil service will propose a list, and the politicians will reward their big donors and fixers, and between them they agree on their list.

  9. I highly suggest watching Wiggins on the Original Penguin podcast too recorded probably a few weeks before this. He goes into a lot of detail of the early years and his Father. Quite the story.

  10. It is so easy to criticize these incredible athletes, but we never stop to appreciate the massive pressure and scrutiny they are under. Imagine being at work and having 1,000s of people commenting on your life and performance. Pause before you comment. These are two incredible people and athletes. appreciate their amazing performances.

  11. I know Brad has no bikes now. But would love to see the both of them ride together to a cafe and just enjoy riding a bike because you want to and not have to. It's so good for your mental health

  12. Get the feeling you barely prepare the interviews. Questions are kinda random, except the obvious ones, and then you start rambling a bit. Maybe you should "go full gas" and attack what it is to be a good, prepared interviewer instead of falling into talking about yourself.

  13. Mr Armstrong needs to stop being the interviewee and more the interviewer. Always get the feeling the podcast is too much about him rather than the person he is supposed to be interviewing.

  14. Sir Brad, if you're reading this, it seems like you've been carrying a lot of weight around for most of your life. Some serious stuff. But man, it's time to put that bag down. Put it down. Leave it behind, once and for all. You've got everything you need to make an amazing next chapter in your life and in your family's life. Use your voice. Use your knowledge. Use your humour. You don't have to prove anything to anyone anymore, man. Godspeed.

  15. An interesting conversation – very open and frank. Thank you. (BTW, Sir Jason Kenny is another cycling Knight of the Realm 😉).

  16. Two grown men, talking about massive personal issues and being examples to other men who may be struggling, that you can talk to someone and you won't be shamed for it. If Bradley is wondering what his place in life is, it's exactly this. To be a leader amongst men, you're saving lives just by doing exactly this. You were an inspiration me on the bike, and you continue to be an inspiration to me even in retirement.
