I posted some feedback for some signs I made last week and I got a ton of beef for having a trophy wall in my office. I say this in the most humble of ways. Yes I’m 30, and I’m still winning state tournaments and have been playing the best golf of my life. Currently a +5 handicap and it’s been a fun stretch.

If I ever shot a 64, I would announce on the billboard right next to the big blue bug on 95. If that’s the same Alpine in rhody, then I grew up playing that course with my grandparents. Congrats!

Cool sign. However, the font used for “Personal Best Round” looks like it should be used for a sign that says “Eat, Pray, Love!” All that said, I am jealous of your golfing prowess.

For the record, I think the sign is fine although I wouldn’t display one personally. Like others have already said, though, the font is fucking dreadful. If you like it then put it up in your house. If other people don’t like it then they’re entitled to hold that opinion. Also, don’t dress self-promotion posts up like this…

But I have an idea for a similar sign! There was another guy on here doing multilayered wood course maps and I suggested LEDs (which someone else upgraded to fiber optic strips) to map out shots across the course.
If you’re at that level of PRs and tourneys, maybe you guys should collaborate to make a course map showing every shot you hit for your PR? That’d be pretty cool IMO. I’ll see if I can dig up the post.
I think the signs are sick but I’d prob remove the “personal best record” and make a plaque every time I hit the 60s lol that why you got a collection with diff courses that would be kinda cool

This sub hates anyone who isn’t a high handicap. If you made a post saying “Finally broke 100 after 5 years of playing” it would be nothing but positive responses and people saying shit like “good job, hope to break 100 myself one day”
