Quan Hongchan is an outstanding representative of Chinese female divers, and she has made many remarkable achievements in her career. The following is a detailed introduction of her achievements:
I. Major tournament honors
Tokyo Olympic Games, in 2021, at the age of 14, Quan Hongchan won the gold medal of women’s single 10-meter dive at the Tokyo Olympic Games with a record score of 466.2 points, which not only made her one of the youngest champions of the Chinese Olympic delegation, but also broke the world record of the event.
Paris Olympics, at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Quan Hongchan once again showed great strength. She not only won the gold medal in the women’s double 10-meter dive with her partner Chen Yoxi, but also defended her title by winning the women’s single 10-meter dive final with a total score of 425.60 points. In addition, she became the youngest athlete in China’s Olympic history to win three gold medals at the age of 17 years and 131 days. At the 2024 Hangzhou Asian Games, Quan Hongchan bagged two gold medals in women’s platform diving, further consolidating her position in the international diving community.In 2022, Quan Hongchan won the gold medal in diving 3-meter board/10-meter platform mixed all-around at the World Swimming Championships, silver medal in women’s solo 10-meter platform diving, and gold medal in women’s double 10-meter platform diving, realizing the grand slam of gold medals at the Olympic Games, World Championships, and the World Cup.In 2024 , she again won the women’s 10-meter platform at the World Swimming Championships.
World Cup, 2023, Quan Hongchan in Montreal, Canada station of the World Swimming Federation Diving World Cup women’s single 10-meter platform diving final with a total score of 458.20 points to win, which is her first since the Tokyo Olympics in international competitions since the event to beat teammates ChenYaoXi. In the same year, she also partnered with Chen Yuxi to win the World Cup Finals of the women’s double 10-meter platform champion, realizing the World Cup six consecutive titles in this event.

Quan Hongchan also performed well in domestic events, winning the Women’s Single 10-meter Diving Championships several times. She has also won five championships and one runner-up in Guangdong Junior Diving Championships, including 3-meter springboard and 10-meter platform single and double.

In 2021, Quan Hongchan was awarded the “China Youth May Fourth Medal” by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and the All-China Youth Federation for her outstanding performance in the Tokyo Olympics.
