Upton at his peak was one of the very best OF in the league. For some reason that mid to late 2000’s era of draftees had tons of talent but flamed out quick due to injuries or otherwise. Uptons, Heyward, Kemp, Lincecum, Braun, Hanley, Tulo, Cargo… etc
I remember him as a solid above average player with some really good years but never a superstar. Ppl expected superstar from him and were always dissapointment. Still a pretty solid career.
BJ Upton literally changed his name. Are they a family of con artists? If so. No moral indictment from me. In fact, bravo. They even got to play on the same team.
