  1. Comment below THIS FORMAT if you want to challenge me in the 1R1RChallengeSeries #5!!

    1. Your 1Rod1Reel of choice
    2. Location (plus bank, wading, kayak, or boat)
    3. Species
    4. Time limit
    5. Scoring

(IMPORTANT: leave 3, 4, OR 5 blank for me to fill out)

Think you can take me down in your home waters? 🎣😎👊

  2. Man if you ever come to Indiana I've got a pond with great fish and would love a one on one with you! And we could do a punishment and all but I see how good you are with hot stuff so we could do something different

  3. Hey Mike, if you like fishing golf corresponds, you need to stop yelling because golfers will report you for that you’re disturbing they swing and they will run you off

  4. Lol it’s wild seeing 14-15 year old kids using $450 reels. Times have surely changed. Good for them though

  5. Is that gold series baitcasting reel going to be available to the public? I’ve wanted one to go with my rod for a while but I’ve never seen them.

  6. Hi Mike! I am a huge fan of you, I watch so many of your videos. Out of all fishing YouTubers you are my favorite one! Keep up the great work! I would also really love to compete against you in fishing!

  7. St Croix Triumph 7" ML, Shimano Miravel 2500
Rural creek 45 minutes from Louisville KY.
Smallmouth bass, potential largemouth and KY(spotted) bass.
Time limit is the most exciting factor. We will wade about 2.4 miles of creek, so we will fish until we reach our finishing destination!
First person to catch five 12+ inch bass on five different lures wins. If neither of us catch five 12 inch fish, we will do biggest 3 fish! Plenty of huge smallies to slay on topwater.

    Great video man. Like always!

  8. I think I was just here a few hours ago… On my way to Centennial lake? Saw it from the road. Only a few small ones though but they love Gulp minnows. Awesome

  9. If you are looking for someone to do a fishing challenge with I can do one with you this Thursday at lost lake grove Camano island meet me at the clubhouse at 2.30

  10. twin cities
    1) bank fishing
    2) day or night fishing
    3) best outta five fish
    4) biggest ( bass, muskie, pike, or walleye).

  11. The person with the net was most likely looking for lost golf balls to re-sell, this is popular at public courses because they can't kick you out.

  12. 1r1reel it’s been my dream to meet u in person and it will be a blast if I fished with u becuase I caught 5 pounders before and I will be a hard person to beat

  13. I wanna challenge you here in the NC Mountains! I have killed em this summer! I caught a 7.42 and a 8.56 two weeks apart! Hit me up man! It’s be fun!

  14. Just as others have mentioned, it does need a dab of oil before you use it https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxSlytCJqozTF7EbdP4LWP-HUXf9WRDJ0e – put a few drops in through the convenient screw cap and you are good to go! I have fished several weeks with a couple of these, and I will be getting more in the future. I put these against my Abu Garcia Pro Max reel, and they actually perform a bit better than the Abu with some of my lighter cranks, and definitely just as good with the rest of my lures. My Abu is a bit more low profile and fits my hand better, but these are definitely not bad at all. You can almost get 3 of these for the price of my Pro Max. My only complaint is the thumb bar sits pretty high compared to my traditional profile Abu. Bring that thumb bar down a little and I’m sold on these all day long.

  15. Hi Mike, have you ever fished silver lake in Dover, De? Not to far from you. I’ve caught many bass from 1-5lbs and a crappie.

  16. hey One Rod I know im a little late but if you see this I wass wondering if you wanted to come fish in my pond next time you come to Ohio because I live In Columbus and it would be my dream to fish with my favorite youtube but either way I love your vids keep it up. hope I get to see you one day

  17. I challenge you to a 3 biggest bass challenge I live in Summerville South Carolina. And where I live there's about 15 to 20 or more ponds are you up for a challenge?

  18. Nice video. We have to appreciate when our fans come up and greet us. And how cool of you to give those kids part of your collection too!! Stay safe !

  19. …ok, so, please crimp your barbs, if you need to weigh the fish then do it close to the ground over a wet rubber net etc etc and stop using braid, braid, sadly, is for amateurs and brutes … keep up the fine work out there
