A lot of times on my lessons, I see players with a length of swing that doesn’t match up with their shaft alignment at the top. Players that are laid off tend to steepen their downswing, so they need to have shorter swings so it doesn’t get too steep. Players that are across the line need time to let the club fall behind them so they should have longer swings. Failing to match these up usually results in a compromised pivot.
