Sorry wrong answer Bucky. Lamar did not beat out Patrick statistically, and Patrick didnt have a bad year. His receivers did. They were accountable for half his picks. Patrick had the same completion percentage as Lamar throwing the football more times than Lamar. He had more total yards than Lamar and its much more difficult to throw the football than it is running it. Lamar had a far better offense, and also had one of the best olines in the NFL.
Hill is a top three receiver. Lamar is not even the best quarterback in his own division. In McCaffrey was the only offense San Francisco had last year. Hill gagged twice against the Chiefs when it mattered most last year. Lamar is not a quarterback. He's an option quarterback. This top 100 list is just a bunch of b*******.
There is no hate. Because they voted before the playoffs even happened 💀

Patrick Mahomes didn't roll out of bed and stop being the best player on the Planet. Anyone who understands football is never ever taking those top 3 players Over him EVER. Hill was traded CMC was traded and Lamar was on the block if any GM wanted to part ways with their draft picks which no one did. If you are truly a Generational franchise-changing player teams don't just trade you because of money. There is a reason why the Chiefs felt no way of trading Tyreek Hill since they had the best player on the planet. Also when Mahomes had his record-breaking 50tds and 5k yards MVP season they placed him 4th in 2019 as well, which tells you there is something more to this.
How about the conversation that DeShaun Watson was a big waste of money? It’s so crazy how the white QB’s are trashed by the black analyst while at the same time saying nothing about the failing black QB’s. Is this intentional just to not draw attention to a subject that they rather was ignored. I think the analysts specially on this show mainly Shady are out of touch with reality and fair reporting. I actually think Shady is one of the worst analysts still with a job. 👌

That’s another issue I have with the MVP award given in the NFL. It’s totally unfair and unjust. How can anyone else get the MVP award that is not Mahomes? It’s totally absurd. The MVP award should be given to a player that is playing in the Super Bowl unless a player statistically has a season that is totally out of this world. Jackson did not have that type of season on any of the two MVP’s he won. Jackson had some nice plays but dude come on. Something needs to change. Players are not always the best judges at selecting league MVP. Fact!!!
this voting should happen after the season because the post season should matter too. its the best players of the 2024 season, not just the 2024 regular season. the playoffs reveal who the real best players are, after all.

Mahomes didn’t have his best year because his receivers kept dropping the ball that isn’t on Mahomes. Mahomes was dropping dimes most of those drops. If those catches were caught I guarantee he would be in the race for mvp. On top of that Mahomes beat each of the teams the the first three guys he played. U take away Mahomes and drop any quarterback from any other franchise ask yourself this do they win the Super Bowl. Or even make it to the playoffs.
