Golf Tips

New here, 2 months playing golf. I am not consistently hitting the ball straight. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! :)

First thing I noticed you look super tense. Relax a bit! Also your feet, knees hips and shoulders aren’t aligned.

Try to take your swing down to like 60% and work on club path. Make sure your club face isn’t open and instead of following through up and over your back, think about following through up and towards your target.

So i learned this recently, the club face travels in an arc. When it makes contact with the ball you dont want the club face to be travelling left or else you slice. So ball lined up towards the heel of your lead foot and your hands in front of the head at impact will make it so your club head is still travelling straight and up at impact.

With this knowledge, theoretically I should be hitting my balls dead straight. But i still hit mine over to the other fairway

Let’s get your arms hanging down straight instead of reaching for the ball

    the should be almost vertical

Practice with a pitching wedge, and keep your butt back when you down swing. Keep grinding!

You are reaching for the ball when you hit it. Notice how you don’t line up behind the ball at address. You will be on the balls of your feet when you hit it and will be very inconsistent.
As Ronny said have your arms hanging down by your side.
