  1. Solid list! Fairview farms is a hidden gem in CT. Would put that over Keney and 2 others on this list.

  2. I’ve watched a few of your vids. I enjoy them but please make the names larger as you do a zoom in. Nothing more frustrating than not to know the name of the course as you’re showcasing it.

  3. Great River used to be great but when Fairfield U bought it, well things changed. Not for the better. And VERY expensive! And Lake of Isles when I played it in the Fall had millions of divots in the fairways.

  4. Wow! Talk about a garbage vid. First off there’s a difference between daily fee (expensive public) and Muni.
Additionally, that state is a wile crap hole. No one wants to live there never mind pay to visit.

  5. I'll add this here, Played EVERY public in CT, but have different ranking. Here are my top 10 PUBLICs in CT:

    1) Yale – Spectacular and allowed public play recently – Legitimately one of best in world

    2) Lake of Isles (North) – Nothing is even close in Connecticut for a true public

    3) Great River – Pretty golf course and will test every club in the bag

    4) Wintonbury Hills – Hosted lots of Championship events, wonderful Dye course

    5) Gillette Ridge – Tough layout, when it first opened the rough made it brutal

    6) Oxford Greens – Added a bunch of houses taking a little charm away, but great layout

    7) Mohegan Sun – Added to keep up with Foxwoods (Lake of Isles), nice

    8) Connecticut Nat'l – Biased got a hole in one but great track – beautiful links style

    9) Richter Park – Great, sprawling layout and yes water is ever present but doable

    10) Keney Park – Refurburished and did a great job – old track with lots of character

Honorable Mantions: Shennecosett, Lyman Orchards (Player), Cedar Knob, Ellington Ridge, Fairview Farms
