Great tournament! Bella and Matthew both a little shaky on the front 9 but just goes to show that it means something to them. I thought Bella gave it away strategically not playing two feet to the right and ramming it off the back board on 18 but she still got it done in the playoff. Congrats to Eddie also for not playing # 9 like a total tard this tournament.

Great tournament! Everyone showed the appropriate level of competition and good sportsmanship. Hope you come up with similar ideas for tournaments.

Despite worsening scores through every round of the Mini-Putt Olympics, Bella extends her winning streak to 6 and ramps up her W-L record in elimination tourneys to 6-3, ahead of everyone except Eddie. Bella also equals Steven for the most # of elimination championship titles with two. Bella's average score of 40.67 shots per round remains the gold standard.
Matthew falls to 4-5 and is denied for a second time at the finish line. He completes his Olympic journey with an average score of 42.5 shots in all elimination tournaments, an improvement of 1.5 shots per game than Matthew had entering the tournament, but still trailing Bella, Steven, Tommy, Danny and Eddie.
Bella & Matthew each recorded their worst rounds of the Olympics in this gold medal showdown, finishing a combined 7 shots above Tommy and Eddie in their bronze medal game.

I'm boycotting the real Olympics because of their woke assed shit but had to watch Bella take the gold. I didn't think the gold match would be that close to be honest.

Observations:
1. Matthew's average over his 3 games was >10 strokes better than Wolf's score in Round One
2. Tommy went 1-2, winning with his worst score and then losing two games with the third-best tallies at the Olympics, an incredible turn of bad luck.
3. Steven won the first two elimination tournaments, but has faltered badly in recent weeks. His putting has been atrocious. Steven may need to tear a page from Eddie's book and hit the putting greens to get his short game back.
4. Despite a bronze medal finish and a second flame-out at the hot hand of Bella, Eddie's winning ways at elimination tournaments remain intact. That said, Bella's W-L record is closing in on Eddie's – Eddie needs to beat Bella lest she supplant him atop the all-time standings (hint to Danny: slot them to meet in Round One in the next tournament).
5. Danny finished in the lower half of player averages for the second tournament in a row, after finishing first overall in two of the first three elimination tournaments. Danny has never won in this format – he is morphing into Greg Norman at the Masters or Pete Sampras at the French Open. Despite dominance at Majors, Danny got skunked yet again.
6. Viewership for any contest that includes Bella is so far ahead of anyone else, it's clear she has the biggest following on this channel. Next most popular are the Twins, in a distant second. Tommy and Eddie line up in the next grouping, roughly equal to each other. All other male players trail and do not appear to represent a significant boost to the audience, unless Bella happens to be their opponent.
I had to watch again. I think Matthew may have been talking trash. Lol. I like watching her victory walk…great job you guys
