I actually like Rahm and I miss having him playing on the PGA. He’s fiery and his temper can be a bit much but I don’t mind someone who plays with passion. I feel the same about Hatton. But I feel like Rahm is genuinely miserable playing LIV and has serious regrets about his decision. I don’t know if that contributed to his performance on Sunday but calling it anything but a choke would just be lying to yourself if you’re a LIV defender or Rory hater or Rahm lover…. There are more squares on that back 9 than my tiled bathroom floor.

It wasn’t a choke – Jon Rahm was simply doing his part by getting Tom Kim a medal to avoid mandatory military service. Clearly Scottie didn’t get the memo.
It was a total collapse but golf is too polarized for any logic from the masses. The PGA side loves a LIV choke in the spotlight, and vice versa. Trying to apply logic to this will only get you a headache.
4 shot lead on the back 9 and he doesn’t even medal; given the caliber player he is, I think the choke term is more than acceptable here.

I think because Rahm made his bed with LIV, people just don’t care about him/ care to hate on him. But because Rory is still thought of as the golden child of PGA & that is all the PGA channel can talk about, there will be more down talk for him.

I liked Rahm a lot, and the more I see from him at LIV etc. the more I’m starting to dislike him. Which is a shame, because for all intents and purposes he seemed like a good dude and now he’s coming off more and more like Tyrell Hatton which was funny at first and now it’s just annoying. At least he’s a bagillionare though.

Tho just like how rahm supported and provided context on rory’s missed putts, the back 9 is played tougher than it looks. Hole 17-18 are crazy man. Idk exactly what made the holes super hard, maybe the rough, but people were dropping shots here for all 4 rounds
