  1. What's wrong if he is following new rules , use rules to ones advantage, that's a smart golfer not a sour grape golfer

  2. Wah, Wah, Wah, the rule has changed. Why don’t you take advantage of it as well instead of whinning about someone who does?

  3. Sour grapes and if he does it so much than you should be able to point to certain putts that the video can be viewed to prove your point. Start naming days and holes he abused the rules, if not, go away.

  4. What a total whiner you are!!!! ……..and Sport Saga for even creating this video! Disgusting? Really…..you have nothing to do but put this bogus criticism out there! Good God!!!!

  5. Are you kidding me. Xander is a player we have all watched since he joined the tour .I believe him to be beyond reproach.

  6. The rules are there to help you. This is the new rule there was so much controversy over the last ruling it’s changed for the better. Eddie needs to concentrate on his own game maybe some day over the rainbow he will be in contention for a major or maybe he’ll find that pot of gold

  7. I'm not sure I follow your point. Are you saying he creates a 'groove' to the hole (a little furrow) when he does this?

  8. Totally ridiculous….there is also no rule in golf that says how many times a golfer can remark his ball to line up the line of the ball tomthe line of the putt…i played with a scratch golfer once in a match and he marked his ball six times to adjust its alognment…i could not do anything because the R&A has nit introduced a rule to the contrary. The rules of golf have gone silly. barmy I agree but if a player wants to tap down his line as many times as he wants to create a smooth surface…the current rules of golf allow him. Thats the R&A and USGA’s fault, not the players fault.

  9. That’s a good rule change, and Xander is smart to utilize it. No way you should be penalized on the green if the group ahead of you put a gouge in the green that interferes with your putt.
