I show you how I set up my low cost but effective golf simulator in my small garage. I highlight the three big obstacles I faced and how I solved all three (small space, garage door opener in the way, and how I would utilize a projector). Costs of the setup are also highlighted. If you are looking to build your own cost effective golf simulator in a smaller space, this video may give you a few ideas.

  1. Dude, I love golf, but am terrible at it, but WILL put something like this together. I have seen about 15-20 videos of setups, and your video is by far the best, and most helpful that I have seen, I will watch it again to work out what I can do, and how I can do it in my space in Thailand. I HAVE ALSO SUBSCRIBED…..GREAT WORK MY MAN…..

  2. New golfer here watching all these videos on the most beautiful sport being played and I get discouraged because I don't see many lefties like myself. Been a challenge finding good starter set of lefty clubs. Great video, very informative and I also appreciate a fellow lefty will be subscribing for sure. Any and all advice as to where to find the best budget lefty starter golf clubs will be appreciated

  3. i had no idea this was even possible for less than 10 grand ! thanks and happy fathers day!

  4. Nice to see some Canadian content with pricing. Good job. My hill is a little steeper to climb as I no longer have a garage and no indoor ceilings over 8'. Considering doing something outside, which really limits it's usage. : (

  5. Thank ya Bud !! Make my day ! I was about to spend 45k 🤦🏻‍♂️ !!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇲🇽🇲🇽🫱🏽‍🫲🏼

  6. Great video and advice. One question: does your garage have a slope? Wondering if that would affect numbers on the skytrack or if it would cause bad habits to constantly be practicing on a downhill or uphill lie.

  7. Nice video, but let's talk about the important thing here…lets talk about the Kramer painting. 😆 where did you get it?

  8. Very Informative and Relaxing.
For my garage in Chicago suburbs:
    -how do you heat
    -is the impact very loud
-would a rubber standing mat work. Need to move after each use.

    Thank You
    PS
I'm building a 5×16 raised putting green with reg cups and levelers for creating breaks, in my basement but not settled on the turf. Have any suggestions? I've read good reviews about Camry Turf.

  9. Great video! My brother and i are looking to each build something similar so we can play head to head (we ive on opposite coasts in the US). I was wondering about the cost of the e6 simulator software. Wouldn't that be part of the total cost? I didn’t see it listed, so wanted to ask. Thanks!

  10. Thanks for sharing all of the detail! So the iPad is running through software and connects to the launch monitor? And the Apple TV simply allows you to project/cast the view from the iPad to your TV? I’m curious if Smartcast features of current smart TVs would do the same.

  11. Do you think it is possible to store the Fiberbuilt Mat vertically up against the wall when not in use? I want a garage setup that I can break down when I want to park the cars, the Spornia net seems to break down and store relatively easily it's the mat that I'm not sure about. Fiberbuilt's website says this mat is ~150lbs, which while heavy, suggests that it's rigid enough to tip up against the wall without issue. True?

  12. Ipad Air ? You can get a mini pc for 80 bucks used. If it can emulate wii games.. its powerful enough for that.

  13. Hi Golf Quest,
We'd love to see an update on your simulation build and upgrades you've made over the past 2 years. Please share with us when you can. Thanks for everything you're doing, my build is similar to the one you've presented in the video except I went with the Garmin R10. Thanks again!
