I was given this putter by my girlfriend’s dad who had it for a while but never used it.

Am I supposed to keep it pristine or can I use it?

You’re stuck now bubba. That’s how Scotty dads work. That’s their way of telling you they like you but if you hurt her you might be wearing concrete boots.

  2. This is his way of saying “don’t fuck this up”

Everything of his you end up with saves you strokes

It’s a test. Do not fuck anything up with the girl or the club. Also, one 3 putt and it’s over.

That’s so hot. I’d game that forever. That has to be one of the nicest looking putters ever. Anyone know what year that was made?

Very cool. Use it but keep the headcover on it. These things are wonderfully. If you keep the headcover on it, it’ll look better in 15 years than it does today.

  7. What’s the model name of that putter? I was looking at that same one.

This is her dad’s approval of your night putting activities.

He proposed to you and since you are holding that putter you said yes! Congrats! ❤️

Man I had that putter when it came out . I’m a lefty and it took awhile to order it . Loved it so much . It was stolen along with my bag when someone broke into my car . Such a good feeling putter

I cant putt with a blade so I would just have it as a display piece. My odyssey 2MCS isn’t going anywhere

Put it on your mantle and dust it before he comes over.

Father in law has been retired for 20+ years. Been golfing 3x a week since then.

Dudes amazing. We like to fish and golf together.

If I had to guess, he has enough clubs in his basement to put together 10 full sets. Outside of fishing which is a pretty cheap hobby, that’s all he likes to do. Get the latest and greatest.

My uncle gave me an old set 15 years ago. I still use the irons and I bought some used (new to me) wedges.

FIL was like “what are you buying clubs for?”

Went shopping in his basement. Came out with new hybrids, an odyssey putter and woods.

TL;DR: this dude likes you. Don’t screw this up

It all depends on what you want to do, some people may keep it and save it in a pristine condition so they can one day sell it to afford a house or whatever luxury they want. Others would treat it with respect and play with it their entire life to hand it down as a family heirloom.

  15. Just in case you don’t know that’s a carbon steel head and they rust very easily. If you play early on dewy greens it will rust quick. Always give it a good wipe down and never put it in a headcover wet
