Undoubtedly one of the most likable guys in professional golf. That fist pump on 17 after draining that birdie, you can tell it really means something to Scottie.
Just a few months ago this man was in jail. His story will go down in Olympic History!

I’ve heard more than one person say something like: “Its a meaningless tournament with no purse”. LOL.
Those guys played their fucking guts out during this tournament.
And I loved the finish. A great podium.

And like that it just officially became the 5th major. The only every 4 years thing really adds to the prestige as well. Now he gets to try and defend it on home soil, the crowds will be wild.

People can continue to downplay the Olympics all they want but the fact of the matter is…it fucking matters and it’s an awesome moment for these guys. I think medals are going to age well for him and Xander once we get a couple decades of Olympic golf and start to see some of the names that win gold over the years

I was flicking between the golf and tennis this evening. 2 sports that people question their inclusion in the games. You cannot possibly tell me that this doesn’t mean the world to the likes of Scheffler, the runners up, Djokovic, Nadalcaraz, Murray, Kerber.
Even Rory did his traditional shit himself in honour of the games.
