The Los Angeles Lakers have been turned won by Uconn head basketball coach Dan Hurley and now the Lakers organization is in a challenging position.
Hurley reportedly turned down a 6-year $70,000,000 deal to join the Lakers and take over a team that desperately needs a new culture.
What does this mean for the immediate future? What does this mean for the long term? Who will be the next head coach?
Dan Hurly put the Lakers in a really difficult position.
Let’s talk about it.

I know Bron love Ad, but Philly for 3 years in the east would be it for me. The fact that Rob is gm and president ain’t it. At what point will this franchise stop living off legacy Jeff. JJ would be silly to take it unless they give me a godfather offer
No Hurley told woj that’s what it would take
The offer he got was fair. Although he has won 2 titles, statistically college coaches don’t do well in the NBA. He used us as leverage and Woj got an opportunity to broker him a better deal. If he had that deal already on the table why did he even meet with the lakers?
The culture change needs to be general manager to pick players
If you are a coach and can’t call a timeout or settle on a starting lineup after training camp….they can have him
