  1. Great video and love this as my new swing thought. We all know not to rotate at the top of the back swing but sometimes you see it described in a way that really makes the sequence click! Can't wait to get down the range 🎉

  2. This is the video I’ve been looking for I keep getting stuck in the down swing resulting in a flip hook or straight push right

  3. Really good. Padraig talked about something similar. As a bang-under-average-golfer I got it in my mind that the 'hips lead' and 'fire the hips' – all that stuff we see pros talk about. All it did for me was make me go 'over the top'. This makes real sense.

  4. A new way to describe the golf swing 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻make it stop.
Throw the club , throw the whole set down the field , go get them , do it again but brush the ground this time , go get them , put a ball down where you brush the ground . Bingo .
Open or closed stance around the ball creates shape 🤷🏻‍♂️ .
Oh yeah – stop letting go

  5. I've noticed your hands are getting very deep / far behind you on your backswing recently. Are you missing left by any chance?
Work with a good coach and keep going for the Open. We'd love to see it! ❤

  6. Serious question:- how does an Iron Byron make beautiful consistent swings without any weight shift, dropping the club inside, wrist or forearm manipulation etc.? As John Jacobs put it, two turns and a swish. Perhaps an idea for a future Swing Quest?

  7. Like the thought process. I have a question about golf swing with bad knees. I flare my feet like penguin and keep my feet closer together. I ended up with some transition issues which I started thinking on the back swing follow the tree trunk up which caused me to drop my hands on the down swing. Anyways is there anything else you can think of for a bad knees guy? My left knee is always killing me after about 15 holes.

  8. Wait wait wait wait! What’s that in your hands, is that a Wilson? …what happened to your Pings? Tell me you’re not switching? Inquiring minds want to know…

  9. So watch the video this morning, took the drill to the grass range at the club. Few duffs later, things started to sync up.

Really looking forward to my round tomorrow. Cheers Finchy

  10. Where is the low point and at one point is the low point on the arc of the club around the body seems to drive distance and direction for me. It's the focus on the strike after a repeatable setup that helps determine my low point that has meant all the difference for ball distance and direction. The focus on the outcome the low point strike sending the ball straight that has synched up the take away, transition, and down swing.

  11. If your backswing is restricted (such as for an older person) would this still be possible?

  12. I love how the teaching of the golf swing has evolved. There are so many ways to swing and depending on your body you can now try different ones and figure out what works. Who cares how pretty it looks as long as it hits the ball correctly.

  13. Thanks Peter, been struggling with my Driver and 3 wood. This lesson has given a visual to work on.

  14. You just described my thoughts for what makes my swing work. Coming from you, that is great confirmation that I'm on the right track. Thanks for all your wonderful content

  15. Great I can follow that. I have got my backswing sorted, I've improved my shoulder turn, and if I keep calm I'm not bad but if I drive hard from the top it goes bad. My biggest issue is that I dont "finish" and my right hip pops out instead of rotating thru. Is there a key element in your vid that I'm getting wrong?

  16. Somehow the idea of leading with my hips got into my head and all my iron and hybrid shots became pull hooks. Now I have something to work on.
