I Started Hitting Perfect Golf Shots After Discovering This

If they was one thing that could help you hit driver straight and get you to hit your irons perfect this is it.

In this golf lesson Danny Maude reveals how the best ball strikers (those that can hit driver straight and know how to hit irons consistently) have one thing in common. They control the low point in their golf swing to within 1/2 inch. In comparison the average 10 handicap golfer is on average 6 inches out.

In this golf video you will learn what low point is and how you too can begin to control it. If you want to improve golf swing and hit driver straight then learning to control your low point is possibly the most important thing you can do.

ABOUT DANNY
———————–
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!

I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.

On YouTube and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.

Be prepared though. If it’s a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble

I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

3, How to get the correct impact position with driver

and I hope to do all this with simple golf tips so you can create an effortless golf swing

  1. Respectfully wasnt ur low point begind the ball more than 6 inches from the previous low poijt?
I thought the goal was for all low poijts to be within 1/2 inch of each other?

  2. Great lesson, but on my course, and many in the area, the sand is fluffed up and powdery and impossible to advance the ball very far.

  3. Great video. Please make another using the baby powder on a golf mat as suggested earlier. It will give us even more visualization to practice with. Your instructions really help me.

  4. This all makes sense. But for years, many insructors have said move the ball forward for long irons and back for shorter ones. What are your thoughts?

  5. Why is it that every video golf coaches put out there claim "this is the single best thing you can do to hit perfect shots"…

  6. 80% of the time I tug my irons to the left. More so with shorter irons. I need to try this tip for sure!
65 year old high handicap here.

  7. It’s not a circle and the low point demonstration is incorrect. When you stand facing the camera and show the club at its lowest point, that is not correct because at that point of impact, your body would be about 50+ degrees open and the trail foot already off the ground. This means through impact, the low spot is not a point on the ground but a 6”-10”flatter spot that goes under ground due to the opening of the body and why pros take the long divots. Depending on your height, club length and swing arc, the path the head travels is not a circle but an elliptical of various and changing radius.

The sand trap demonstration proves this point, no?

  8. These tips are really great but I find that I get more tense as the game goes on until I get to a point where I’m hitting either straight left or straight right, totally forgetting the follow-through. It would be great to have a ritual that I could work on to stay relaxed.

  9. Ok…"TrapMan" hailed it! What a simple yet powerful drill. Thanks to one of your low point lessons a while back, I've been using one of those cheap but accurate strike indicator mats with decent results. However, this drill provides even more information when it comes to the depth of strike. Love it. Love your lessons that apply to any skill level. Some instructors try too hard to translate and teach pro level skills that most golfers don't have the time, strength, or skill to mimic and therefore often just languish. However, things like consistency of setup and even low point control, are things anyone can learn and practice. Well done and thanks!

  10. I struggle with a hook and i have a tendency to get the head in front of the ball, hence probably my low point being too far in front. Not once though have i heard anyone explain that the low point being too far forward can induce a hook. This is gold and i know what I'll be doing when I'm back from holidays.

  11. I recently found you and I'm so glad I did – you're the only pro I subscribe to now. I've been having real issues out on the course so drills like this should help. Thank you!

  12. Danny.. I cannot say enough.. THANK YOU!! You lesson have helped me get so much better.. I am still trying to break 90.. but I am shooting 90-92 now.. I was always in the 94-96.. I am close!!

  13. Danny, I want to make sure I completely understand you; you said that all of our iron shots should be played with the ball in the same place, about a blade length from our lead heel. Is this correct? Does this also include our wedges? If so, we only have 3 ball positions: irons, hybrids and woods, about a ball length from our lead heel, and driver, near our lead heel. Is this all correct? Cheers.

  14. Great video again Danny. This drill is so good and I would say maybe one of the best ones for every golfer to do this. I even saw Bryson recommend similar drill so if he does it… Anyway, your content is just ever so good. Cheers from a Dutch fan of yours😉

  15. Another excellent lesson Danny. Put into action this morning. It improved my iron striking and hybrids, resulting in longer, higher and straighter shots.
Also, I did concentrate on keeping my body centred over the ball which also helped.

  16. Nice video Danny! Almost all bad contact is from low point error. The tighter one can get this, the better.

  17. After 50+ years playing this great game all over the world, my career may be over due to shoulder problems. I can't tell you all how lucky you are. Listen to this man, he knows what he is talking about. Just enjoy.

  18. My swing has gone to hell recently and I am almost certain it is not finishing the swing. (club not getting above chest height even on driver). For some stupid reason I have gotten my head into the once the ball is hit it does not matter mentality and this is causing all manner of inconsistency and decelerating in the swing.

A video on getting these old bones to once again finish a swing would be great. (I have this problem even worse on driver and chips and it sucks even more there, duffs, thins total mess). Irons are not so bad as I generally compress and throw the head. The other clubs I am mentally trying to 'control' things and eeek.

  19. Great lesson Danny! I wish you would have been around 40 years ago. I'd be a much better player today had that been the case.

  20. This explains everything and why I hit so inconsistent today at the range, thought I had fell of but probably just had luck before.

    Very informative thanks
