I thought Jai Herbert was moving up to Welterweight for this fight, but Bedoya moving down makes me think he wins this easily. He looked pretty "soft" in his last fight but on the scale today he looked like a completely different person. The last time he was fighting at Lightweight he was on a 4 finish streak (5 finishes out of 6 wins in a row), then went 5-2 at Welterweight with only 2 of the wins being finishes.
Jai Herbert is too gun shy now. After the Ilia fight and losing a point in the Klein fight which cost him a win, I suspect he might struggle to be aggressive and have any finishing instincts, especially when dealing with the volume that Bedoya puts out. I wouldn't be surprised to see Bedoya finish him here and I'd be shocked if Bedoya lost in all honesty.

He lost against elite fighters and some of them went to decisions
I don’t have much faith in any dogs this week. I want to like Bedoya, but he is extremely susceptible to straight shots like Jai throws. Every time he tries to enter the pocket, he’s going to get hit 2-4 times by straight shots, imo. And Jai can manage distance pretty well. I think he’ll need to get it to the ground to win.
I also want to pick Vera, but I think he will get wrestled to death, though he said something about how he waited too much for the counter with O’Malley, so I expect him to come out banging.
Ferguson for me is more of a nostalgia pick. A pick of hope.
Sandhagens fight IQ is much higher than his skills. I think he’s going to have some real trouble, but if anyone is smart enough to figure out how to beat Umar, it’ll be Corey.
Michal O. Could win if he just wrestles. Not going to be able to strike with Shara.
I’ve actually been leaning Tiululin the whole week. Dumas isn’t that good anywhere and Dennis could easily catch him with his heavy brawling style.
Usually when I struggle to find a dog is usually when I start picking female underdogs. It’s basically a 50/50 shot no matter what. I think Hughes could wrack up some decent points. She’s going to be very active and it’ll be for all 3 rounds.
