For this golf simulator I decided to use the Mevo+ as the swing tracker which was a $1900 device. And then for the software to play golf courses worldwide I bought a license to TGC 2019 for close to $1,000. I also grabbed a short throw projector for under $1,000. Everything else was made DIY to keep costs down!

  1. you can move the projector back so it fills the screen from top to bottom, then make a custom resulotion in nivida display and make that fit the sides 🙂 then you can fill the whole screen (Y)

  2. … you didn't mention what sim you're using. Assuming that is not included within the 5k budget mentioned.

  3. Nice room. I made a sim setup under my deck that I can bring out and pack away when I'm not using it. Setup / takedown takes about 15 minutes each. Whole thing cost under $1k. This is using Optishot 2 which is entry level sim, more of a video game vs a pro analyzer but it does track swing data quite accurately and is super fun to play / practice with.
