As a Rutgers fan im absolutely nervous about this season because i feel like there is alot of eyes on them this year so they wont be able to sneak up on anyone..all the points you guys made regarding Rutgers is what i was saying and thinking and if Kaliakmanis plays good and mistake free with only a few ints they get in just hoping they're defense doesn't take a step back
Rutgers def needs to remain as injury free as possible. If Athan can just be avg passing the ball they have a shot to win any game. I don’t think there are any definite losses, but I also don’t think there are any definite wins. Rutgers needs to remain focused in the moment and CHOP every play. Kyle M is NOT the only horse in the backfield, so no, he doesn’t have to lead the league again for RU to win 10. It will be a total team effort and Greg has a huge task at hand. Remember, RU doesn’t play the top five, but also doesn’t play the bottom three. They play everybody in the middle and given their recent history, every week should be a competitive tossup and should be exciting to watch.
If Rutgers cant get in with a 10-2 Record then what does thay say about the BIG then ? Regardless of who they play in a conference schedule shouldn't matter because it's still a BIG conference schedule especially if they have the 3rd best Record
Guys, this is crazy talk. I'm a Rutgers alum and fan (and contributor). I want to see 7-5 and I will be very happy with 8-4. I understand all of your points and agree that Rutgers has a very favorable (the most favorable?) conference schedule.
Rutgers has a pretty favorable schedule in that they don’t play OSU, Michigan, PSU nor Oregon. That being said the notion of Rutgers potentially winning 10 games and being in the CFP is beyond insane. Best case scenario is 8-4, worse case scenario 6-6 and I think they end up 7-5 when all is said and done. Rutgers will not be an easy out for anyone.
