MIND BLOWING… The NEW $600 Garmin R10 Approach Golf Simulator…

I test the new Garmin Approach R10 launch monitor, the first Ever indoor outdoor golf simulator from Garmin… and as a budget launch monitor just how good is it? in this video I test out the new Gamin R10 Simulator and see just how good it is… is it the best budget golf simulator? the best cheap golf launch monitor? How can this device help you play better golf? maybe it can get you hitting longer drives than ever before and beating all your friends? and just how good value is it for £529? Let’s do it… and let’s do it now!

  1. Why didn't you just test it up against the simulator right infront of you, if you think it's reading the wrong yardage

  2. great review…..thanks. One of the metrics I am looking to fix w a launch monitor is Angle of Attack w Driver….curently and after 2 lessons, I average -5*…..not good. I am looking to buy a home launch monitor to measure this accurately and am wondering if u feel the R10 does this? I see the huge discrepancies re spin rates on most clubs w the R10 but am not sure if that is as criticl a metric for me? Also-are there other home launch monitors u would recommend other than the R10? Thanks…..love ur vids and always learn and laugh lots!

  3. Needs improvement before I buy one. Until then I will use the indoor trackman at one of the courses I play at to watch my numbers.

  4. Tempting product especially being able to mirror your phone to a tv or projector and have a very very affordable at home driving range

  5. It's about time hey made a launch monitor that doesn't break the bank and has all the bells and whistles that the average golfer need! thanks James

  6. Imagine if you left the 15000 dollar equipment on to test the 600 dollar one 😂 who would turn the flightscope off

  7. R10. Trying to practice into a net in the garage. No idea of ball flight. This looks ideal. Like that it doesn’t have to be too far from the tee location.

  8. I'm curious – in the last year since this video, have you tried the RTC balls to get better accuracy? I have an R10 and I'm trying to decide whether to shell out $70 for the enhanced balls.

  9. The fact that you weren’t comparing with another monitor simultaneously make your commentary questionable “i fells it should be going further”

  10. Bought it recently on Amazon. BECAUSE I had a 30-day return. I returned it after 4 sessions. 3 of those sessions were at a range, using real, good to very good Srixon balls, thevrange markers were accurate and the launch monitor at the range always matched what the balls actually did.
    – Nothing about the R10 was consistent.
    – The club face data often was opposite of what HAD to have taken place.
    – The total distance of the R10 was usually around the real carry.
    – One of my 246 yd drives with a 3 yd draw was reported as a 210 yd draw with a 25 yd slice.

I spent a LOT of time inputting the distance from the R10 to the ball and making sure it was aligned correctly. I also tried making the minor directional adjustments to correct the L/R readings. This was totally and completely useless. Sure, once in a while you’ll get results that match a real monitor but it can NOT be trusted.

Do not buy this. It’s a waste of time. And if you can’t return it then it’s also a waste of money..

  11. He still has “driver” selected as his club when he’s hitting irons, hence the “D” in the bottom right of his screen. You need to select what club you are hitting and it will be more accurate.

  12. you're not changing the club on the software lol
you see that "D" on the lower right hand side? that means driver
and, im pretttttty sure the formula used for driver is different than it is for irons
