❤
this video was a banger I cant lie but you gotta post more often its your full time job jock
Awesome info in another perfect video. I’m Lansing and built a simulator in old room of my church. We have a blast. I use the garmin r10 until I get a Bushnell. Your simulator would be my next upgrade. Love it!!!
Dang I with I build my sim for that cheap, Bradley shanks sounds like a fitting name Ngl.
So it's a $3,000 sim. Holy smoke, that's some over the top click bait 😅. To be fair there is some useful info and links here.
Honestly man, you gotta have bigger dreams than that.
I've got a launch monitor (Skytrak), TrueStrike mat, enclosure, screen, projector, and PC. Only thing I need now is a house, so I should be able to build a sim for $600,000!
I love the idea of the foam tiles with a cutout hitting strip. I’m not building a sim, but I’m planning on putting a net on the deck and building a 6×4 platform with the tiles and cutout for a hit strip. Only thing I’m worried about is the platform being too light and/or not grippy enough to not slide around (it’ll be on a slippery Trex deck). Do you think those tiles have enough grip so that wouldn’t be a problem? If not, do you think it work with a rug grip on the bottom? Or should I opt for something heavier like building the platform using 3/4” plywood with an anti slip rug pad?
Did he say full build was $1K at the beginning…then say he uses flight scope which cost $1800…huh?
I keep trying to get the info for the screen and email does not work for me?
One thing to consider is that the main expense in any golf sim build is the space itself. You can set up something decent and relatively inexpensive, as I did. Spornia Net ($275), MLM2Pro ($700), and Motiva Mat ($170) coming out to $1,145. I then use my iPad setup in front of me as a screen but you could also use your phone. I currently have this setup on my patio. The next step is an indoor setup; however my garage is too short to house the sim, and a big enough building will be around $7-10k. If you already have the space, great! Otherwise, an indoor sim can be pricy.
Two questions. 1. Do you glue the foam tiles together? 2. Do you glue the turf to the top of the foam tiles? Thanks.
