Let’s get started.

Bandon Dunes (Pacific Dunes)

Golf was born on rugged, wind-swept land, just like Bandon Dunes. Every hole, every shot is defined by nature’s presence. As the elements vary, so does the game.

You’ll discover golf in its most pristine state among the giant dunes and hearty pines where nature is embraced, not defeated. Ocean views stun the senses, along with bluff-top dunes sprinkled with Scotch broom and gorse bushes, The most memorable seaside holes are the par-4 4th the par-3 12th, and the drivable par-4 16th hole. Each with incredible scenery and its own unique challenges.

Designed by the mastermind Tom Doak, who relied on an ingenious design concept and let Mother Nature work her marvels on this classic links structure. It was established in 2001 and has 36 holes.

The length of this Pacific dune beauty sits on 6,633 yards and par 71.

Next on our list we have:

Blue Monster at Trump National Doral

The Blue Monster at Doral golf resort is more challenging, significantly longer, and more dramatic. The course features a series of strategically placed deep bunkers, interesting undulating greens, long flowing fairways, and a challenging assortment of water hazards – where the golfers require both length and finesse to score well.

This dramatic beauty consists of 18 holes, and in 2014 Gil Hanse meticulously re-sculpted every hole. The famous 18th hole is traditionally ranked as one of the most difficult on the PGA TOUR. Golfers like Jack Nicklaus, Norman, and Tiger woods had their moments of personal triumph on this world-class course. Blue Monster has been hosting the PGA TOUR for 55 consecutive years.

This Magnific Monster was established in 1962 with 7590 yards and 72 par.

  1. Have you played any of these golf courses? Which golf courses are on your bucket list? Let us know in the comments below!

  2. Any such list without Pine Valley and Oakmont is invalid. Plus, I'm sure the folks over at Merion, Pinehurst and Winged Foot might have something to say as well.

  3. National golf course is the best golf course in the United States it is located right next door to shinnecock golf course I have been an employee of both I appreciate Nationals views of the Bay I think that subonic national and shinnecock should all be united into one course with Bill santini in charge of the whole operation and anonymous employee and greenskeeper for over a decade I know what I'm talking about

  4. I first thought the list was public courses until I realized you included private courses. I mean……I know golf courses are subjective, but can't disagree more with this list. Where are:
    CYPRESS POINT
    Oakmont

    Pine Valley
    National Golf Links of America
    Fishers Island
    Merion
    Sand Hills
    Chicago
I wouldn't argue with you if you put Friar's Head, The Country Club or Los Angeles Country Club, Riviera or Pinehurst No. 2 in the top 10 as an outsider. But Ocean Course and Blue Monster????

  5. Sucks because I have to scroll through to pick up names to enter into my app to find out WHERE the HELL each course is. geez. Location location location.

  6. Augusta National and Pebble Beach are 1/2 in whatever order you want to put them in. They are both terrific courses, but so different you can't really compare them. If you like links courses better and great views Pebble is the winner, if you like pristine perfection Augusta wins every time. No Cypress Point, Winged Foot or Merion makes this list a little sketchy. Doral used to be worthy of a top-20 list, but no longer is, and while Spyglass is nice, it is not in the top 10, neither is Bay Hill, although is is a fine course. Pine Valley, Pinehurst No. 2 and a few others should be in the running for this list as well.

  7. you mispronounced Doral & Kiawah! You lose all credibility when you can't even pronounce the course name.

  8. Good Lord. Any chance of having someone preview your presentation before releasing. Mispronunciations and wrong background pictures really detract from any other stuff you might serve up. Kiawah (pronounced key-a-wah) does not have mountains in the distance as an example.

  9. And Torrey Pines is not a links course. The only true links courses in the US are the ones at Bandon and a 9 holer in Massachusetts. This is a terrible video.
