#7: Taylormade GAPR. If you can hit your long irons pretty well but want something a little more reliable and slightly higher launching then this could be for you. I found this club to be much more controllable than a normal hybrid and it was able to stop on the green much faster as well.

#6: Callaway Apex. If you’re looking for a replacement for your driving iron then this could be a great option for you. It’s best for low to mid handicap players and isn’t the most forgiving. It’s not the best out of the rough but it’s easier to work the ball around compared to a standard hybrid.

#5: Cobra King F8. If you’re a fan of Cobra clubs and don’t want to break the bank then this could be a great club for you. It’s not as forgiving as some and it’s not the most advanced but it’s one of the easier clubs to hit off the fairway and from the rough. It also has Cobra Connect to keep track of your shots and how far they went.

#4: Cobra F9 Speedback. If you want the latest Cobra club and have the extra money to spend then I think it’s a great option. It’s slightly bigger than the F8 and is designed to give a more predictable distance with the ability to stop quicker on the green.

#3: Ping G400. This has been the hybrid I’ve been using for a while now because I’m the most comfortable with it. I also use the G400 driver and fairway wood because they’re good in pretty much all situations. They’re great off the tee, on the fairway, and in the rough. They aren’t the longest but I have the most control with them.

#2: Cleveland Launcher HB. If you want height and straightness then this will be for you. It’s designed for beginners and high handicaps but it’s still one of my favorites to this day. It’s the easiest club to hit, has the most forgiveness, and also launches the highest. It’s almost too easy to hit.

#1: Taylormade M6. This is my current #1 pick for the majority of golfers out there. It’s great in all situations and can be used by all levels of golfers. High handicaps can use it and you can grow into it as you get better. It’s not the longest but it’s probably the most complete hybrid.
