Can South Africa’s Manie Libbok break a world record?! | Ultimate Rugby Challenge

In the latest Ultimate Rugby Challenge, South Africa fly-half and Rugby World Cup 2023 winner Manie Libbok looks to see if he can add another accolade to his collection and break the world record for the longest drop goal!

Despite not attempting a drop goal during the World Cup out in France, Libbok will first try to see if he can better England stand-off George Ford’s 45m attempt that he slotted in a windy AJ Bell stadium in Manchester, with the help of his Sale Sharks teammate, Gus Warr. If Libbok can manage to beat Ford, he will then attempt to break the world record, which is a HUGE 77m!

  1. He needs American led technological forensically science behind him to never miss any kick at any angle and improve the 35 degree hit and where the foot should be, he didn't even try the 77 that looked lazy.

  2. Great kick no doubt but on the high veld in bright sunshine is a bit different to a grey windy wet day in Manchester

  3. Well Manie stick to kicking records and other kicking theatricals, just please stay away from the rugby game, definitely not up to it.

  4. I dont know any better dropgoaler then jannie de beer and naas botha even pollard could not do it, if he or manie can do so in the coming years much respect

  5. How do we build a new breed of SPRINGBOK players wen comments between two of our best. We need to support all our rugby players because come next RWC every body is coming for US 🇿🇦❤🏉

  6. Check the Frans Steyn catalogue of long-range kicks. If you are unable to see the trvth, you are blind. That first kick was not over. So no, as a South African, international rugby is not worth playing or watching.

  7. You guys need to check your facts. The longest drop kick is 77.7m by Springbok Gerry Brand in a test at Twickenham in 1932..with a wet heavy leather ball.
