  1. My home course is a Robert Trent Jones course. Thus it has all elevated greens ; which means I have to land all my approach shots on the green. I never get rolls up to the greens! If it is short, it stays short or rolls further back down the hill. This is so frustrating. Especially, when the greens are huge and undulating with various tiers. Any tips for playing 100 yards and less onto these types of greens?

  2. Thank you MSH and thank you for explaining why. And yes, GF's are useful for many things including camera work 😎

  3. I like the matches too! But I think short game tips are huge. The goal should be to get as close to the hole as you can – not just getting onto the free. Dave Pelzs short game bible has been a huge help to me – I know what club and swing I need for 100 – 20 yards in increments of 10 yards.

  4. I need to practice this. I'm one of those guys that would rather have 100yrds in than 40. I feel very confident from 100yrds with my 54° wedge. Half swings get into my head and give me problems.

  5. Just wanted to make a suggestion. You said that you don't get as many "views" with the matches. Very briefly, your channel was recommended by a close friend of mine who absolutely raved about it. Why? Because he loved how you approached the game…giving every shot some thought and your course management. I watched this channel ONCE and I was hooked. There aren't any dramatic, magical fixes, no lessons on how to add 200 yards to your drive, no sure-fire quick fixes for your slice, swing path, etc. Just real down-to-earth golf from a down-to-earth guy who plays the game like most of us do (or want to do). I watch the matches but I sure would like to hear commentary on what you were thinking, why you pulled a particular club, and so on. Ironically, in a lot of situations, you select the same stick I would (but you get a much better result 😆). Anyway, thanks for the channel (and YES, I saved a few of your videos to peridoically review b/c they were just that good at making sense of this game!)

  6. The only videos I don't usually watch, are product reviews, as I love the clubs and ball brand I'm using. I love the match's, and also just you playing alone, and giving course management tips. You're a pleasure to watch play MSH!😂

  7. 100y easier than 40y? I wonder what they were talking about. 40y it's just a little putt! 😄

  8. I would like to see more instructional type videos. I’m one of your matches you had to hit several relatively long low shots from off the fairway. I’d like a tutorial on club selection, distance control and shot execution.

  9. You have been putting out a bunch of videos here lately, and I really enjoy all the content. Just wanted to say i really respect the grind and keep up the good work. This is one of my favorite channels by far.

  10. The matches are gold in my opinion. Great tips, especially rotating to high finish & not level, low, or stabby. I get too steep too often. Thanks. Soft hands!

  11. Your videos are very good and helpful, I've been using the way you talk yourself through each shot and how you play each hole. Thanks it's been very helpful, keep doing you and the matches are entertaining.

  12. I have a specific chipping swing that is much different than my full swing. Chipping swing is as you describe – a body-driven dead arm swing built for accuracy and not power. It works well out as far as 40-50 yards. Different clubs can change the height / rollout equation. I do struggle at 60-80 yards when it gets a bit too far for my chipping swing but too close for a full swing.
