  1. Matt Le Tissier wrote this on X/Twitter yesterday 'This years weather so far has been horrific, wasn’t it lucky for the government that 4 years ago when they locked us down we had wall to wall sunshine for weeks on end. It’s almost like they planned it that way' – He's not 'honest' or 'brave' or 'a truth teller', he's an idiot who spends too much time on the internet going down conspiracy theory rabbit holes.

  2. Loved Matt as a player love him as a pundit just an all round grounded guy and picked a guy I worshipped as a kid as the toughest you'll never best Des Walker who's also class. Respect Jeff another top bloke lovin your work keep it up 👍

  3. I always thought Matt Le Tiss was the most underrated player of the modern era. A brilliant player and thoroughly intelligent and decent fella 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

  4. Don't hold your hand in front of your face when there's a mic in front of you ya dope. Thought you were an experienced broadcaster?

  5. Think what you will about his, let's say, opinions. But as a player, some of the goals were awesome, and some meant so much. Love the old stories.

  6. Le Tiss couldn't play in todays game. I stop watching football about 10 yrs ago and just started again. The speed is ridiculous, the games about athletes, not proper footballers, Hoddle, Sheringham, these types of players wouldn't stand a chance.

  7. A great player but played for the love of football and put enjoyment ahead of success and why he stayed at Southampton where he could be main man and play how he wanted but I always thought he would of been a brilliant replacement for Cantona instead of Sheringham but it turned out alright

  8. When Cantona retired, Le Tiss was the player I really wanted to come and replace him. I loved how he played. In the end I’m glad he stayed at Southampton, not because he wasn’t good enough but because I respect any player that wants to be a one club man.

  9. Matt Le Tissier, what an unbelievable player! Rocking up to training eating a McDonald's breakfast, not taking training all that swriously, wasnt in the greatest shape but none of it stopped him turning it on and lighting up the league with audacious skill and outrageous goals. Without a doubt one if my favourite players of all time

  10. As a Gooner watching at Highbury from the late 60''s till early 2000's. Yeah Arsenal had their fair share of hard players, Sammy Nelson could change in a second. Most of the defenders Adams, Keown, Winterburn ( 1990 Man Utd, huge brawl ), Sansom, Storey, O'Leary, McLintock, Campbell, Bould and more could mix it if required. Good show, and thanks.

  11. I went school with Des Walker in Enfield, use to hang out with him at youth club before he went spurs trials and at Notts Forest me and local guys when he joined Forest Remember him, driving, Capri Laser 😂😂

  12. One of the most gifted footballers I've ever seen Le Tiss single handedly kept Southampton up so many times. If you had to have someone take and score a penalty to save your life I'm picking Le Tiss.

  13. Never aspired to making the very best of his abilities at the highest level. Deliberately stayed at the Dell because he was a shoe in every week and didn’t have to deal with expectations, constant discipline, grit, graft and consistency. Great player but a lazy player.

  14. As a Gooner, I loved watching Matt play football, Loved that he was a one club man, Such a Premier league legend IMO! He's the reason why I've got a soft spot for Southampton!

  15. Graham Roberts was a real hard man – I remember going to see Spurs play at WHL in a second leg European tie against a Belgian side – after the first leg away one of their players said Robbo couldn’t tackle – in the second leg Robbo proved him right – he hit the bloke so late and hard that the crowd collectively went ohhh – the bloke lay in a heap on the ground and the ref didn’t even give a free kick – even back then he should have been booked and today he would have got a red for sure – he was a real hard man for sure

  16. If I were to pick a team from the premier league era…..Matt Le Tissier would be in my midfield. Roy Keane, Steve Gerard and Paul scholes alongside him.

  17. Great to see you jeff 👍 and with the great man and footballer. Mr Le Tissier 🙌
